Everyone i know who has comcast hates it, Facebook et al are very liberal organizations so doesnāt suprise me, and i pay way below $100 usd, and my modem if we want to talk about that is a dual line with 2 seperate wifi, which support a lot of advanced functionality for VOIP, and routing, its a business modem more or less, if that helps answer your questions about hardware comparisons 
and running around town is getting up to increase speeds soon.
It isnāt easy to de-flower a hood cucumber. 1-3 weeks as long as decent weather stays in the forecast.
