Well, I’ve seen it myself when I started.
Anyways, try to calm down man, is it the big alliances or what makes you that mad? I bet your miners are happy to provide a ship to such a sweethearth. F1 and SRP soldier. o7

Ah, so you are going to rely on your personal anecdotal evidence over CCP’s data. Cool beans.
They actually are. They know that trash like you are going to quit (at least in the short term) which means greater market share for them and more profits.
Why would I quit? I do hardly any mining, mostly just build stuff.
Look at that. Running away so hard after getting shot down from your original position. Now we’re gonna take the “lol, wtvr, i don’t mine anyway” approach.
Whatever, kid. I’m not gonna chase you or your goalposts. Sure, you’re a builder, or a miner, or whatever other trash you want to pretend to be to avoid getting your arguments shot down. Suit yourself.
I have never said that I’m a full time miner nor that I don’t mine at all. I just simply stated that someone has to mine in this game and build stuff, otherwise there is no ships. But if you can’t understand basic english I can’t really help you with that.
so here it is once more
someone has to mine in this game and build stuff, otherwise there is no ships.
Your implication was that these changes would lead to enough miners leaving the game. Which is where your (wrong) conclusion of “no ships” comes from.
I’m telling you that’s wrong because there are good miners who realize that this change is not the end of the world. And in fact, many of them already see this as an opportunity because the value of their ore has suddenly skyrocketed overnight, meaning they are MORE likely to mine.
Again. Your logic is flawed because you are trash and you can cry until the cows come home about how every change to mining is going to result in “no more ships”. But the major flaw there is that only works if every other miner is trash like you.
Good new for the game, they aren’t.
I like the change personally, stale games are not that fun in the long run. Was a good chat. Enjoy your afk ratting or what ever you do for isk, have to get to work.
Yeah, I don’t really care how long someone is playing. If someone quits because of a ship loss that would have happened sooner or later anyway. I just save them some time until they realize they play the wrong game anyway.
So many people complaining, the rorqual is supposed to boost other miners. Which this improves place a hulk and boost it and it can reach 20km+rocks and it still gets protected by panic.
Rorqual is not supposed to be a solo miner to many people act like its a mining barge.
To many people forgot the days when a ships were a investment because the isk was worth something. I am so sorry that bigger ships will actually be a investment and you might not be able to bring t3c fleets like its a corvette and might actually have to concider if a tech 1 doctrine can handle the threat.
Panic is never used to protect hulks though. If a hulk gets stuck in panic its dead as soon as panic ends, its a death trap. Panic is used to protect the Rorqual itself vs the kind of whaling fleets that exists today. Or rather to give a save fleet some time to actually form. You will see very few people fielding rorquals just for boosts after this nerf. Its too much of a risk to be worth it when the rorq itself wont pull its weight mining like before due to low m3 rocks. Instead you will see more always aligned insta warp orcas on fields that more closely fits the amount of ore we see in the new anomalies and most likely will see on the new moons. Paired with these you will see expendable covetors that will share the same aligns and still warp under 10 sec.
Whalers will find much less content after this change because insta warp orcas will be in warp as soon as they are spotted in local.
CCP doesn’t have the balls to just delete industry from their game. People like me will continue to arm chair from a distance as both the PvP Community and CCP itself continue to gang up and finger point at the mining crowd. Then the mining crowd retorts and everyone cries “its a pvp game”.
Just admit there’s no room for industry in this game and complete the transition to full FortNite clone already.
The capacity of the so called “miner crowd” to see themselves as the victims on almost every occasion is amazing.
May I ask for your stuff if you quit?
don’t worry kid - they are.
HAHA, tell that to the 9 Rorquals who smoked up 50 droppers, some of which had blingy ships (Loki, etc).
Simone who enjoys mining here. Yes I understand most people refuse to accept some people may enjoy a game activity they personally don’t.
I think of mining as a lazy river, sitting in an innertube, drinking a beer, chatting, watching Intel ect. Its low key relaxing and serves a major role in a mmo meta.
I like it. I can watch Netflix listen to music chat ect.
It also keeps you in a ship for pvp and does provide content for others.
I absolutely understand stopping botters stripping systems clean, that actually helps me as a small scale miner.
I don’t want them to ruin the gameplay light that I enjoy. This need makes high sec solo mining more appealing as the money is close but I have safe access to major markets and wont have to deal with transport contracts ect.
Many people here laugh at the concept of mining “gameplay” but take that out and I might as well play a game with good pvp gameplay then. Get it?
You don’t really believe that’s their goal, right?
You’re not enjoying mining. You’re enjoying whatever else you can do while your ship is mining. This is not a matter of semantics, this is accurately describing your situation. Your ship is mining, you are watching netflix. Therefore you are enjoying watching netflix, while your ship is mining.
I don’t hate mining. Mining is fun when you’re actually doing it. Mining is not fun when you’re doing something else. If mining, outside of using enough characters to keep yourself busy, was enjoyable, then people would not be doing something else while mining.
Get it?
trying to figure that out but after reading carefully think most people will stop mining moons all together as this usually means a massive nurf
my gus after reading reputedly - sounds like all the ore will be removed and it will only be moon ore but min values will change in them
I dont know why I missed this.
A sign of someone running out of arguments is them trying to find ways to avoid replying to them by labeling them as “Troll posts” or “Personal attacks”. So feel free to ignore most of my retorts, as it is clear to the rest of us that you were unable to respond to them.
No, you did.
Or did you forget that you were the one who began with this 4 moon example?
Im in a nullsec alliance and have been in many, including the biggest of them all, Goonswarm.
We have thousands of moons too. We dont mine even a quarter of them. Do you know why? because most of the moons are not worth it. Only a handful of moons are R32 and R64. Only a stupid alliance would ever consider wasting resources, fuel, and logistics on an R8 moon in Nullsec.
Furthermore, you have to count in travel time and additional logistics effort, to move the ore from each system.
An ore anomaly that spawns every 4 hours, every day, in the same system. How many moons do you think would you need, in order to compete with a single system like that? How many systems would that be?
Yes, I believe i was the one who said that.
So you are agreeing with me, and admitting you were wrong, when you said:
Atleast youve made an attempt to admit you were wrong, without actually saying you were wrong.
Nah man you don’t get it. Ill enjoy what o enjoy with or without your approval though. What I find relaxing and enjoyable isn’t for you to correct.
Guess his permit must be up to date
