they have ,miners are closing thier accounts
Good riddance.
Bite your tongue, everyone knows that Miners are the backbone of New Eden.
No, they are not.
Are too.
Content creators are the backbone. They make New Eden interesting enough for people to want to play in it. Content creators often find their content by mining, but dedicated miners provide nothing except for being content.
Content creators rely on Industrialists who rely on Miners.
The Asteroid came before the Miner, long before the Content Creator who relied on the Minerâs Ore to enable the Industrialist to build the Ship.
âThe Egg came before the Chickenâ
Youâre acting like content creators donât do a lot of mining and industry.
If youâre primarily a miner, your primary purpose in New Edenâs ecosystem is to be content. If all of those people quit playing, there would still be enough people out mining.
you dont know how plexing works do you?
the more people that plex the more money CCP actually makes. because that 1 month of plex is $20 instead of $10-15 per month.
so if CCP sells 12 months worth of plex to someone they make $240 vs $120 if those plex are used to sub someone. Playing the game for free because of plex is just enabling someone else to pay CCP more for your sub since gametime is the #1 use of plex.
I heard that sometimes Miners hire Content Creators to perform the duty of ice belt security.
Allegedly.
I donât know where you heard that, but itâs laughable.
Well, that is need to know basis and that only hand selected Content Creators are in the know!
Allegedy I am not a Content Creator.
Good. Hopefully when the market starts to dry up in a few years, when all those stockpiles are used up, mining will hopefully be wort it again.
Just in case, I have a mining setup ready, so we really wonât miss those farmers.
What is mining for, again? NPC wrecks produce lots of modules and you can get ships straight from the loyalty point stores.
If all the miners abandoned the game, would we really have to mine?
they wont drop a lot of modules when CCP decides to get around to nerfing them again and the bounties they provide.
Bah, weâd all fly T3 ships then - I donât think those require much trit.
