PvP’ers always assume HiSec mining alts are AFK. That is not the case. It is a weak excuse to attack the HiSec protection by Concord so PvP’ers can Gank to their hearts content. Gankers in HiSec are simple minded and can’t handle true PvP that is allowed in ALL other spaces.
The risk\reward in HiSec ganking is the cost for # of ships needed to destroy the target. CCP has done a good job adjusting that balance, at least in 2024, to the point it’s still possible but more difficult than in the past.
