Based on various comments people have made over the years, I think some players want to interact more with NPC’s for role playing purposes. I’d also wager a guess that it’s appealing to a lot of solo players (and yes, I do believe that solo play is a valid play style in an MMO).
And join the EVE Reddit forum to discuss things. This here forum is full of blowhards with self-esteem issues, let alone all the trolls and their innumerable alts.
PS: I also am not worthy to be on a forum with gods, lol.
PPS: A few of the blowhards here are also on Reddit, like Gerard_Amatin, but at least you can block them on Reddit where here you can’t. And you can thumb up posts all you like, not like here where they try to control speech and such to make CCP look good.
This forum is basically a big advertisement for EVE, it has nothing to do with discussion or exchange of ideas.
That ability is called ‘reading’ and you do it too. But understanding through reading is not 100% infallible as there can (and usually is) a mismatch between what was interpreted, written, read and interpreted again.
I’m trying to get feedback if what I read about what you posted was correctly interpreted as your intention, which is why I was asking questions about it. But as you are acting like you are now, there is no way to have a meaningful conversation with you anymore until you cool down, which I think is a shame, because I did think you may have had a good point about NPCs.

Reddit is a nice place, but it’s not really suitable for discussions. The posts aren’t in chronological order and people often use downvotes instead of arguments.
It’s a great place to get good information and memes though. Or if you just wish to share your opinion.
Anyway, I have opinions about those two, but I’m trying to avoid antagonizing them further. Maybe if we leave them alone, the thread might lead to some interesting discussion. And, if not, I’m okay with it dying a quiet death from a lack of activity.
Maybe you should focus on the guy you are talking to (and his other half, DC). They’re the ones that hijacked this thread by attacking those that they mistakenly thought were weak.

@Shipwreck_Jones The thread about my problem with my pointer messing up is locked so I’m getting back to you here about it, as you requested.
I didn’t need to change mouse ( although still wanting to get a nice new expensive shiny one ) and the problem went away after an update ( cannot remember which ) which confirms the suspicion I had that it was the game that had an issue.
But it’s fixed now.
I did get the wireless plug-in closer to the mouse as you suggested but it did nothing good.
On the other hand the trick worked on my son’s PC so thank you.
