Doesnt matter and we have no way to discern that.
What we do know, is its a 14day old character in Venture, in an NPC Corp, in HS, that was suicide ganked by Ima.

What IMA was specifically stating, and has clarified multiple times, is that IMA does not SPECIFICALLY HUNT new players. Ima purely kills just to kill, age of the player is not a determining factor in whether or not they get ganked.

The point is that Ima doesnt know, and thus cant make the claim Ima doesnt attack new players.
All available indicators show whom Ima blew up was a new player.
If that would be the case, also you cant claim that she does.
But, you are really in error, because someone who would spend time and effort, could say if that was or wasnt new player. Have to contact them and check their history for logins. But not by playing game and watching who flies what.

Nothing says “new player”, like a 14day old character, in a crap and non-skilled Venture fit, in an NPC Corp, mining a HS asteroid field. No old player would do that. You know that, I know that, Ima knows that.
Ima also popped his/her pod within the same minute, and we can see no implants where present from pod value.
The player in question has little activity, but we do know he/she was active at least last on 2018/07/05 when they formed a Player Corp.

Killing players doesn’t involve checking how old they are first. If you are a pvper, you just kill them. That’s true in highsec, lowsec, nullsec and jspace.
How old they are is irrelevant at the time of the shooting. Just because someone kills a new player, doesn’t mean they were going after new players. They could be just going after players in general.
