The Self-Help Thread

I have discovered that there is a Broadcast4Reps community in game. So you get psychological help and express yourself. That is absolutely necessary and fantastic. But what if there was also a thread for people who needed something similar to that even if remotely related? The reason why I think it is needed is that over the decades in EVE and real life, I’ve come across so many people so disempowered that crave such information, but so confused and lost that they zig while the info zags, unknowingly evading the info. Also, the best way to learn something truly is to teach others. So I took the initiative on my break from EVE and initiated a Self-Help thread.

This thread serves as an uplifting thread and a guide/discussion on to how success mechanics & the universal truths work. A guide/discussion, within forum rules, for those who seek to be better in life sucess and maybe in EVE success within the limits of integrity.

You may stop reading right here if that is not your cup of tea.

This thread also has to do with the Casuality topic of Metaphysics sub-branch of Philosophy more than with anything else. In order to have a coherent guide and healthy discussion, the parallel/related branches of this concept and their higher tiers shouldn’t be ignored as well. However, it should be clear that we’re going to be discussing the mechanics and methods behind the usage for success as well. The mentioning/providing of sources used, and how it has been applied to life and EVE is strongly encouraged. Otherwise, the entire discussion would be only little more than “gym bro science”.

So I’ll go first.
According to the late philosopher Earl Nightingale, the definition of success is " the progressive realization of a worthy ideal , or goal"

In order to do that, we first need to take full responsibility of our lives.

  1. Assuming the responsibility
That means there is no blaming the suicide ganker who ganked us in space, the guy who bought one of the 512 HyperNet nodes and won, the server tick that prevented us from cloaky warping at the gate and as a result getting tackled and losing all expo loot and all the other IRL equivalents. The reason for this is that if we don’t assume responsibility of creating our own reality, then how can we change it consciously? We cannot affect what we do not own. So we need to get rid of excuses in order to get results. We cannot blame the external conditions for that, since most things in EVE and RL is like Rock-paper-scissors-lizard-Spock game where everything has a counter-solution. So we need to transfer the power over to ourselves, rather than giving power to others. Besides, there is a famous quote on the web about it that is food for thought material:

“Imagine being bitten by a snake and instead of trying to help yourself heal and recover from the poison, you try to catch the snake, to find out the reason it bit you to prove to it that you didn’t deserve that.”

After that is done, we can move onto the next step…

  1. What you put out is what you get back
This means in simplest terms that if we do good, we get the good returned back to us eventually. If we do bad, then karma bites us in the behind eventually. That also means we get what we think, talk, feel, imagine, and act about. Those all, except the “feelings” part are the things we have control over anyway.

I’ll not go into much detail here now, as the OP is getting very long and the time is way past midnight, but that idea is also called, stated in the previous paragraph, is part of the Law of Attraction, if one wishes to call it so. The Law of Attraction CAN work by those principles, but there’s also the attracting into life by default.
In order to utilize the LOA(Law of Attraction) consciously, one can follow some mechanical steps as follows:

Step 1: Vision

Visualize what you want.

Step 2: Desire

Be intensely excited about what you are visualizing.

Step 3: Belief

Believe what you desire is possible to manifest.

Step 4: Acceptance

Accept your belief and your ability to manifest it as being true.

Step 5: Intent

Want and intend are different. You must have the intention to manifest your desire.

Step 6: Action

Act and behave like your desire has already manifested.

Step 7: Allowance

Detach from the outcome. You have to be intense in your desire without any expectation that it manifests.

“Whatever the mind of man can conceive and believe, it can achieve” - W. Clement Stone

This post is not complete by any means. It can be continued later as time goes on, depending on the progression of the thread.
What would you correct/add, or even share tips, tricks, and strategies to success?

Too much to read sweetie so soon after getting out of my coffin. It made me yawn but don’t tell anyone as I like to be seen as seductive, powerful, and sexually alluring, not as tired or sleepy.

I would share tips, tricks and strategies for success, but Zaera is Top Cat so that would be silly.

:ccpguard:

Not very flattering, but Zaera recognises her followers lining up for attention.

It is important to note that it is important to be very warm and understanding and supportive to individuals who struggle with this asd we can’t go in and attack their delusions.

Even when they don’t really interact that well in a social situation.

I do however invite Broadcast4Reps to perhaps take another look at us to perhaps help with interacting with us in the future,

Well you could try Zaera’s Pleasure palace, but 1st you would have to stop drinking you oaf, give Zaera full access to your wallet and become an ardent supporter of feminism.

Yup, probably should be the top priority for the Frostpacker considering what was stated in those posts that he has removed since.

Yes I am currently cutting back as much as possible.

Example,

It’s just too much liquid to consume.

I have had a belly full of beer for lunch ands it’s only 1:30 which is good as I will slow down the rest of the day today as I am not mixing beer with spirits .

Hate to nag you Frostpup, but are you aware that aswell as well known effects such as damage to your liver, alcohol has lots of other lovely effects such as attacking your nervous system? You could be happily playing eve ,one day , then paralysed the next after your nerves fail with no warning.

Basically, your nerves are like insulated wire, the alcohol attacks the insulated wire. When the insulation fails, your nerves short circuit and you become paralysed.

Alcoholic neuropathy is a condition where nerve damage occurs due to the toxic effects of alcohol on the nervous system. It is a common complication of chronic alcohol abuse, with studies suggesting that up to two-thirds of individuals with alcohol use disorder may experience some form of it. The damage primarily affects the peripheral nerves, which are responsible for transmitting signals between the brain and spinal cord and the rest of the body.

Yes and there also no cure for Australian Bat Lyssavirus that lays dormant for years to one day reach my brain.

Well Chad , if anything happens to you because of your stupidity, I need to warn you.

Let’s be fair and I agree that even though I am most probably going to continue drinking, there is absolutely another alternative which is Valium which has a higher chance of long term side effects and this is where the balance comes into play.

For some reason, thought you said Viagra.

Wouldn’t that increase anxiety?

Never tried that medicine.

I also take SSRI medication which had caused various side effects already such as having a weak pencil.

A big wallet is all that matters.

The concept of having a group that support some level of psychological healing is fantastic and now there is this thread could have some clarity when answering a specific question such as answering does anxiety really exist or is it all in the mind?

Alcohol has a short term effect on the central nervous system that helps slow down brain activity.
