Theology Council Restructuring

Obvious False Flag attacks.

And shameless anti-Kingdom sniping too. No surprise: it is, as always, a matter of time. Yes yes, say I am whining, I am used to that too. Just look, though. Look at what’s been said straight out just here.

Not pious? Not welcoming? Not deserving of the Empire’s blessing? ROT OFF. We are all of these things and we, as always, do our sacred duty to impress God’s hand upon the cluster. I am done trying to be pleasant about this! Thank you, Ms. des Larmes, for your kind and nourishing words in this environment. They are deeply appreciated.

Miss Loai, most of us don’t consider Chakaid to be representative of the Kingdom.

And I find it very odd that people tend to run to the Empire/Kingdom for solace without giving other regions a chance as well, and then bleat about how they’ve never found anything like it anywhere else.

If you were these things, then you would take a stand and fix the evils in your nation. But you don’t. Just like Ange, you are spoiled and placated by the comfort you receive. “Ah yes, I get treated nicely, so I’ll just ignore the bad parts!” And when called on it, you react with anger, because how dare your nice life built on the back of sin and rot get revealed for what it is! “Why can’t everyone just get along?” asks those of paper-thin skin as they make kind with devils.

Your nation’s flag declares man to be above God, and yet you claim to do His work? Your Kingdom betrayed God’s Empire, and yet you claim to do His work? Your king refused to commit Shathol’Syn and betrays Sacred Flesh, and yet you claim to do His work?

The Kingdom is nothing but rot, so long as the demons who rule it are not exorcised and the twisted beliefs it follows are not purged. Amarr needs to burn out the traitor lords from their castles and Reclaim the Kingdom. The Kingdom’s people can show their worth by which side in that conflict they choose to defend, as you all did once before when you seceded. Will your families make the wrong choice a second time?

Nevertheless, his actions do not seem to trouble his liege any. Normally you’d think that a person in a position of power would know better than to spew nothing but bile and venom when allowed near interstellar communications.
You’d think that these cringe-inducing tantrums would draw some ire from a superior who should know the value of reputation.
Perhaps he represents more than we wish he would.

This is indeed puzzling. I’ve caught but a glimpse of His Majesty Farokh - Miss Qerl and Lord Crases should remember that one - and while the encounter was somewhat unpleasant and not terribly productive, there was a human side to the King.
I’m yet to see the good Aga-Count display one. How do they even get along?

Guess we’ll be seeing some more Blooder dreadnoughts in Tanoo sometime soon.

Just putting it out there that it would totally show you if blooders never hit Tanoo ever again.

That would really hurt your argument.

There is Nauplius, too…

I have corrected you on this point before. The Khanid seal reflects the relationship between God’s law and man’s law. There is no seal that places man above God.

Placing man’s law above God’s law is just as blasphemous.

I am glad that I can repay some of the generosity that the Kingdom has shown me by defending its honour against such slanders. Much the same for King Khanid III and Aga-Count Chakaid as, although they have not directly offered me any succour, their leadership has clearly influenced their greater populace to become warm, welcoming, pious individuals.

Considering that I have been assisting the Royal Khanid Navy in removing Blooder and Matar threats amongst others, I sincerely doubt these accusations that Aga-Count Chakaid is ‘calling shots’ with Blooder terrorists. If any coincidence can be drawn, it is that Blooders are trying to discredit the Aga-Count by targeting areas that he has spoken about because of all his hard work trying to eliminate these threats.

Should one wish to be so morbid as to predict terrorist atrocities as @Sah_Phyre felt it necessary to do, I would not be surprised if they attack Kihtaled as we have made a dent in many Blooder incursions near to that system recently.

I like to think King Khanid saw how wayward and liberal the Theology Council had already become and decided the Faith would be best preserved if he remained outside its influence for a while. Hopefully, Aga-Count Chakaid will return that venerable body to orthodoxy.

Nauplius. I will smack you so much. I have seen the King, and you have not. Neither of us speaks for him and you ought especially not even try.

…how the hell is this man still walking free? I realize that things work differently in the Amarr Empire and Khanid Kingdom, but considering the rather disturbing evidence I’m now wondering why a group of large humorless men in uniform haven’t shown up at his doorstep and “politely” informed him that the Kingdom’s Ministry of Internal Order needed the answers to some rather pointed questions.

Wait, you’ve met the King? What did he say to you?

Have you heard of a man called Dochuta Karsoth? We don’t refer to him by that name anymore, he’s gone down in history as the “Blood Chamberlain”. You’re welcome to find out why, and then ask yourself again just how “outlandish” these suspicions are.

Trust me, we’re all just as baffled. It’s not something easily discussed here though. Participants tend to get a Deathglow-laced brick thrown into their windows the next day.

Quite the contrary, some of us do.

Though I’d add that those who feel they are working on bettering the situation through diplomatic means - as surely there will be some to rebut - are incredibly naive to think that anything less than direct action would suffice… Scalpels don’t lend themselves well to amputations…

How is this at all baffling…? It’s the same as any form of corruption: a web of lies in which the very people who are put in place to prevent such things have an interest in seeing them through…

EDIT: To re-focus on the theology council restructuring itself - I await with bated breath to be proven wrong in the assertions that the Empire is, at this point, far from performing just or righteous actions… In fact, I’ll gladly eat my words if the restructuring is at all positive and not lending itself to further appeasement of wretches like Chakaid…

He did not speak to me. I hold no title. I was only there in attendance to support the cause of Lord Kithrus Crases, which at the time he did not find suitable.

As it stands, he is the direct representative of King Khanid himself. Once he can no longer style himself as such, I think I would come to agree with your opinion. But as has been mentioned elsewhere, he retains his position, which implies tacit approval on the part of King Khanid of his words and actions. And as the Khanid Kingdom is an absolutist regime, if the King approves, the Kingdom approves.

I think she more meant ‘of the Kingdom’s people’, rather than the political heirarchy.

Has anyone cared to ask the Khanid people whether they feel represented by Mr. Chakaid, whether personally or merely by dint of being named King’s plenipotentiary? Last time I checked Ms. Ramijozana was not part of it.
