There is already a Covid19 Vaccine, What's your opinion about it?

To be fair, most investors would be concerned about the individuals they are investing in as it is the individuals producing the results. I.E. If you invest in a medical company run by a quack or someone with terminal cancer you may be making a risky investment.

I agree, I am a selfish asshole.
However, My demographic isnt targeted for vaccines, and in fact can’t get them unless sick or a front line worker.
Simply put, I dont have enough interaction or risk to validate a limited supply vaccine.

You keep telling me what I know. Interesting. Please, tell me more.

I don’t know of a single therapist that would tell you to drink and drive for your own well being. Maybe I should check into that.

if i die after vaccination, i’ll be just statistics

That is true, however, the majority of the people involved are not the face of the company being invested in. Do I care if they take sick leave or get pregnant?
No, I care about the promises and advancement towards the goals. I care about the goal.

Currently. This will change as production increases and more of the high-priority people get theirs. And when it does refusing to get the vaccine is reckless stupidity.

I don’t know of a single therapist that would tell you to drink and drive for your own well being.

You’re ignoring the point. By your standards of “I don’t care about anyone I’m not personally invested in” killing someone by driving drunk is morally just fine as long as I don’t know that person. Why should I care about the anonymous stranger my behavior endangers?

They actually haven’t been approved by the FDA. There was an Emergency Use Authorization issued. Just to be nit-picky

it is you who require someone to get into the car when drunk, you are so kind that there will be nobody else on the route on which he will go

in addition, you make someone feel guilty that if he does not drive a car under the influence of alcohol, he will kill someone

How many have died? That can be directly attributed to the vaccine?

You’re applying outside situations.
That’s where your claims of lack of empathy fall short.

I do not drink and drive because I care about innocent people on the roads. I don’t fire any of my guns into the air, because I care that I might hurt or kill someone 3 miles away. I don’t do a lot of things because I care about other people, in a general sense.
However, I am not personally invested in very many people, so my sense of responsibility is somewhat limited. I argue that I take better precautions than you do.
Afterall, I am in the middle of nowhere, surrounded by empty land, dense woods, a fence. I hardly ever go anywhere, and when I do, I wear the required mask. I stay at Least 6 feet away from people, both because it’s advised for the pandemic, but because I don’t like people being near me.
I limit my emotional attachment to people I don’t know because it keeps my mind intact. Some of us have things to deal with that you never will. That doesn’t make me a bad person.
I served humanity and my country, and later I served my community.
Now I focus on myself, and I leave the rest to those of you that can wear your hearts on your sleeve.

Then maybe you should apply this understanding of risk mitigation to getting the covid vaccine.

Again, why would I want a vaccine?
I am as far removed from humanity as I can be, without going to Alaska. My interactions are extremely rare, and I am not a carrier.
I pose literally zero risk.

if I die after the vaccination, it will be the fault of the vaccine or … CCP

Wow, this really spiraled out of control. by your standards clary, since you think old people have no merit or shouldn’t be interacting with the younger population, does that mean it would be perfectly ok to let you go out to the great beyond say when you are 50?

im just in shock by what i’m actually reading. idk how old you are but damn if i were to ever cross paths with you, id probably punch you right in the throat.

So your demographic isn’t being target right? What demographic is that? My state has put covid vaccines in the express lane and every age eligible to get the vaccine is getting it, to help with as merin as been saying, risk mitigation.

this vaccination is one big unknown … the truth is one thing … either you go as you are told … or the opposite

I don’t think you understand what “literally zero” means.

It really isn’t. The facts are pretty well known, some people just don’t like those facts.

I will just leave this here

Chloroquine is a potent inhibitor of SARS coronavirus infection and spread

Virology journal,

BioMed Central,
2005, 2, 69-69

Abstract: BACKGROUND: Severe acute respiratory syndrome (SARS) is caused by a newly discovered coronavirus (SARS-CoV). No effective prophylactic or post-exposure therapy is currently available. RESULTS: We report, however, that chloroquine has strong antiviral effects on SARS-CoV infection of primate cells. These inhibitory effects are observed when the cells are treated with the drug either before or after exposure to the virus, suggesting both prophylactic and therapeutic advantage. In addition to the well-known functions of chloroquine such as elevations of endosomal pH, the drug appears to interfere with terminal glycosylation of the cellular receptor, angiotensin-converting enzyme 2. This may negatively influence the virus-receptor binding and abrogate the infection, with further ramifications by the elevation of vesicular pH, resulting in the inhibition of infection and spread of SARS CoV at clinically admissible concentrations. CONCLUSION: Chloroquine is effective in preventing the spread of SARS CoV in cell culture. Favorable inhibition of virus spread was observed when the cells were either treated with chloroquine prior to or after SARS CoV infection. In addition, the indirect immunofluorescence assay described herein represents a simple and rapid method for screening SARS-CoV antiviral compounds.

I will get vaccinated only so that my mother could sleep peacefully, because many wise people told her that it was good and proper, although knowing my happiness I will be the fraction that will be distorted after vaccination

That is completely false

And what’s your point?

I am 36 at the end of this month.
Let me clarify. I do not think older people have a significant role on younger children. First are foremost, there is a communication barrier. There is a priority barrier. Children, and even teens do not have the mental or emotional capacity to actually learn from the experiences that older people want to pass down.
Sure, they can learn some things. How to balance a checkbook, how to change oil or a tire. Stuff like that. But even as teachers, older people lack the ability to communicate at the level of children. Older people want order, children Are chaos.
I think interaction for familial situations is fine, but at the end of the day will be mostly beneficial to the older person, not the younger one. I don’t think people are really ready to face mortality and emotional maturity until late 20’s to mid 30’s, with some exceptions on either side. Some will never be ready, some will face it and grow.

I assume by “let you go out to the great beyond when you are 50” you’re trying to impose the concept of killing off older people.
What a weird concept to go to when discussing things like this. No benefit means die in your book? I’d say that has more to do with you than it does me, or my opinion on this subject.
To be clear, even though I thought I was already. I will not hasten your death, but don’t expect me to care if you die. To be perfectly honest, I don’t even care when I die at this point. It’s an issue I am working on, and have intense therapy for.
I’m broken. Maybe I’ll repair, maybe not. I don’t view my thoughts on this subject as particularly broken, but I can see that it is offending some of you. I do wonder at that, but I think my understanding of your reactions is something I’ll have to ponder on.

As to your hypothetical situation that leads to punching me, no you wouldn’t. I am 6’4" 260-ish pounds. I shape steel for fun in my barn.

My demographic is a healthy, strong 36 year old that has limited interaction with public, is not and has never been infected, and has not been in a situation to worry about being infected.
