True. But make it easy on yourself. Instead of hitting your head against the wall about something so trivial as someone messing with you ( and I understand that he might have written something that really rubbed you the wrong way ) how about just knowing what you think is true about him and be satisfied with that?
What more do you want? What more can anybody do short of ISD banning him?
Then once that’s done, who else should also be banned? You? Me? How many “trolls” until the forum is empty and the site closes?
Let it go. that’s healthy.

I very much think they (drones) should (go rogue).
Also you should be able to put a bomb in a can that explodes if not opened by the owning pilot/corp/alliance. It should also make the can either white or blue to everyone, but SAFETY settings remain unchanged (ie you can tell its a booby if you have GREEN set and it wont open)
Sure even make it hackable to have Bomb Disposal specialists

I think you might not be very familiar with the word significant. That could be 10 to 15 percent who truly are. Regardless, the quest for “salt” is a very, very common theme here.
It seems to me at least some of the developers intended EVE to be a game for sadists/ griefers. Those may have just been very clever folks who could see that ideas meant to protect players could actually be used by griefers and trolls to great effect and favored those. Consider the free corvette. I know a guy who ganks using those and successfully too. They are also used to pull Concord and clear kill rights and pretend to be a noob while scouting targets and more I am sure.
But I tell you what…you just made the “Just doing my job!” excuse. And it gets made a lot here. But consider this; slaughterhouse employees have high turn over rates. Why? Because people with empathy begin to hate themselves for all the pain, suffering and death they cause “doing their job”. Who stays on long? People with no empathy, or worse, people who enjoy it. I believe gankers also have high turnover rates. Eventually all that anger and frustration they caused, and know they caused via angry chat and forum exchanges, makes them sick of themselves. Those who just keep doing it though, laughing all the way…you got to wonder about them.

Both genders have their faults. The trouble is that most modern western women refuse to accept theirs, and that is what makes Bill Burr funny. He speaks the truth most men are now too scared to speak. But of course not all women have that particular fault. Bill Burr’s wife probably doesn’t.
Forum moderators are not robots. Not here, not anywhere. Their motives for what they do are their own. Its the same with any authority and any police force. Never assume those with powers are there to do an honest job and be fair to all. Those types are rare. Always remember those are people, and people are corruptable. Power corrupts. Absolute power corrupts absolutely.
You will find in your time here that obvious trolls are not only tolerated, but given extra leeway.
The trouble with the food fight analogy is that the teacher did not just walk in. The teacher can review surveillance video of the entire event and so can you for a time. We know what happened. We see obvious trolling and rule violating posts left there. And we know justice was not done.
Are you aware that the original dev team were basically “greifers” from Ultima Online?
They developed a game for themselves.

I will respond to all, rest assured. I need to go to the doctor in a few minutes. I’ll be reading some more on the way and I’ll also try to respond but environment where I’m going isn’t so fine to think clearly and give genuine answers.
