THE STARGATE WILL NEVER BE RESTORED!!!
WE all want? Okay this is not possible. A light switch is either on or off. This doesn’t work on any level.
on = keep the game as it is
off = create a place where everyone is equal
I am an alpha casual, over the last 2 years, I have seen enough to tell you the truth. New players both alpha and omega are just chum for the big sharks. Some big sharks pay for this pool, so let them try to blast on me.
I don’t get upset about losing ships that I never paid cash money to own. I basically sit here at my desk, in my crazy corner, trying to decide what games to play. I play this one have some fun and then do something else.
Attention new players, you will either get mad and quit. or you will stick around to figure it out. It works just like that light switch on or off. I figured it out with the help of my friends. Meanwhile I have been gaming my whole life.
Have fun!
Keep in mind that Earth did not suffer the loss that New Eden did. New Eden ships all crashed and civilization had to restart from scratch to get back up into space.
Meanwhile, Earth kept going. They would be thousands of years ahead of us. Any ships that go back through the gate will be destroyed. Are you sure you want that?
No ones knows for sure what happened back on Earth. Nothing in the canon suggests that Earth just continued. That the wormhole collapsing on their end did not have some catastrophic effects as well. This side was and remains completely cut off.
The only ones that might have an inkling might have happened would be the Talocan and maybe the Jovians. The Talocans (who may or may not be the Triglavian Collective) are not around to ask any more and the Jovians are not talking.
For all anyone knows at this point. Earth side of the collapsed worm hole might be worse off or maybe not. There is no real way of knowing at this point.
As for the idea of finding a way back to earth side. Nah. Can not say I would be for it. We may find out many things as the Lore progresses and changes. But at this point leaving Earth as an unsolved mystery works better in my opinion.
How would you know? Were you there?
No, but I hear you’re that old
If I were considering buying CCP myself, day one would be meeting with the R&D department head and asking, “What do you have we can put online tomorrow?”. I know it sounds cruel, but the next step is cutting the budget to 50%, and canning all projects but the one most developed. If this means jobs lost, then why weren’t they ready? Focus on one new project at a time.
Much later, I would be asking R&D why they keep pumping out new versions of Eve? Other game companies work with multiple titles, genre, and not all space related. Why isn’t there a solo offline game that is sold for $40 flat? If 1,000,000 copies sell the profits would add 40 million in revenues which is 35 million more than what they currently lose.
Obviously it would not take much imagination to turn the company around. I still think the rumor is smoke and shadows by PA to see what will or won’t happen in the next 6 months. I know I wouldn’t be happy about spending hundreds of millions, then sitting idly by for several years waiting for positive change. We should know by this October which way the wind blows. Most business operate on a fiscal cycle. Unless I misread it, Korean business has a fiscal cycle every October.

That just shows their incompetence. What Eve needs is for CCP to be forced to declare bankruptcy, and forced to sell Eve off without any of the existing management, maybe the new owners should rehire a couple devs (possible not, its not like they do anything but break things), but definitely not anyone currently in a management position.
