Eve is not a competitive sandbox, what are you talking about
It is a game where people who want to gank can jump right in with some friend shoot a few mission runners and then log off
Adding level 5 missions to high sec space wont drastically change the game, it will hardly change it all. Having Storyline missions for Interbus will hardly change the game at all.
However these changes will keep people playing longer, in my opinion, and by result make CCP more money.
So you say wow is the most successful game but then seem to draw the faulty conclusions that there can only be 1 and that therefore no one should do anything similar at all. I can inform you that eve already has something similar, missions level 1-4 in high sec and other activities in high sec. But for the high end they stop, this to me is obviously connected to the fact that most people who play eve only do it for 5 months, or so was the case a few years back and that most people stay in high sec.
So CCP by listening to you and other gankers, CCP is basically losing a lot of money they could have been making. Yes you would be very bad at making money in the real world. Lets simply reject lots of customers, really smart there.
Yupp anyone who wants to make CCP some money and at the same time provide some fun for people who dont want to bother others must go away
You are the obvious troll
However, thank you for replying and giving my post a bump, as I wrote in my original post I am not interested in the comments of pvpers and gankers my post was made for CCP who will most likely never see it
Then you should have opened a ticket or put it in the more relevant portion of the forum.
Also, its not really a troll to disagree with your position. If you were open to objections and discussion then you could use the forums appropriately.

The people who have insta wins are the gankers and pvpers, because they can at any time jump in with some friends and kill a mission runner just like that
A person who wants to run missions and not bother anyone is always considered a second class citizens and must be subservient to pvp.
I am not talking about making missions easier, just that other humans cant jump in the middle of it and ruin it for the guy who doing the mission.
Being some guy in a random corp you have very little chance of being war deced, and if you are then you just delete the corp and make a new one, again I am talking about the 11% tax.
The price for a 1 month plex a few years back was 500 million, now it is 1,5 billion.
And no you are not a mission runner, and if you are I am the King of the Universe
You are projecting your own deficits on me, however they are yours. You are incapable of seeing things from any other perspective than your own, I however am not
Yeah man that is an excellent strategy âgo find another gameâ, talk about being unable to see anything except from their own perspective.
My suggestions are how CCP would make more money, and you are basically saying NO they canât make more money with a change that will hardly affect the pvpers at all but will greatly affect the pve-ers.
How about instead of not providing content to people, they actually DO provide content for people, how about that
Thank you for replying and giving my post a bump however as I wrote in my original post I am not interested in the comments of pvpers and gankers my post was made for CCP who will most likely never see it
It depends on what cargo is being transported, there is lots of npc cargo that has no value or low value.
Thank you for replying and giving my post a bump however as I wrote in my original post I am not interested in the comments of pvpers and gankers my post was made for CCP who will most likely never see it
But interesting that a ganker is open for Storyline mission for Interbus
You are definitely not a sensitive little snowflake, definitely not.
Indeed, if a similar game to eve were to start, a game that showed more love to pve, the I am quite certain that game would make more money than eve
Lv5 missions were never âofficialyâ in high sec, though one could âapparentlyâ get them to pop in high sec.
Yes lots of people at CCP really just want to pvp, and the people at CCP have failed to see that most people around the world just want to play their game and not be bothered when they dont want to be bothered.
Interbus story line wont negate point of factions. You still have to run the missions which cost TIME and the missions would not massively raise the standing, it would take lots of TIME to reach the max Interbus standing vs the factions and that is not a lot to start with
I just know what MOST people want when it comes to video games, I just know.
If only I had a few million dollars, I could them make it to billions by giving people what they want.
Maybe mine and use (new) mission ores* and reprocess to mission minerals* and use those to manufacture mission items*?
(*Nowhere else used nor useful for regular manufacturing.)
That would be an interesting idea for mission runners
On behalf of all players I know of⌠Ehm just me ofc:
Im mostly doing pve and most of the time Im casual playerâŚ
But
It doesnt change the fact Eve is pvp game and always have been. I actually enjoy the feeling anyone can anytime Im undocked stomp my sandcastle. Without meaningful loss Id lose my interest in playing the game.

Looks like you dont know what the not-so-silent majority actually wants.
I know exactly what the silent majority wants
And it is the LOUD minority talking
For example lets say their is a newspaper article about anything at all.
There is always a very loud minority who will write many comments on how immigration and all immigrants are bad
However if one looks at the elections in countries with many parties, those parties that blame immigrants for anything only get 5-10% of the vote.
YET!
If one goes by comments to any internet newspaper on any article one would think that those voices represented 99% of the views
When it comes to video games I know exactly what must humans want
And as always people like you do not and will never understand MONEY
The only thing Iâd like to see regarding missions is more âepicâ mission arcs. Like the SOE arc⌠but say 30 of them, for all different factions of various levels.
Most new players are from the types of games where you start at âlevel 1â run through (hopefully) entertaining missions that tell a story as you progress to the max level and then join the end-game.
Thatâs not how Eve works⌠but thatâs what people are used to. I donât really see a problem giving them what they want. A series of connected epic-arc type mission chains that tell the story of New Eden and keep a new player occupied in the game for a few months if they go that route. Hopefully by that point theyâre invested enough to try the other parts of Eve (that are frankly a lot more interesting and fun)⌠instead of leaving after a few weeks due to feeling like theyâre going nowhere because theyâre not used to sandbox games.
You have a lack of imagination of what can be done to the pve side
Also you seem to be under the illusion that granting any stuff at all to pve, is the same as removing ALL pvp.

Thank you, but of course because this is the internet, one can never trust any comment
How long does it take for a person to change their worldview from a linear way of thinking to unscripted? Iâm sure it takes longer if the linear way is reinforced.
Donât get me wrong - I actually would like to see the mission system shaken up, as it gets to be a bit stale, but a player is going to need something other than âitâs gotten boringâ to embrace the unscripted way of thinking about our niche game. I would worry that with your idea people would just outright quit once the arcs were over and discover that âend-gameâ doesnât exist in EvE. At some point they need to be weened off the mission rails.
Unless youâre breeding a new cohort of Incursion runners, that is. Then this works perfectly.
Linear path, ha! Over analyze much
People just want to play a bit and have fun
Bet lets over analyze and say that ADD kids cant really focus on anything so therefore they do not like missions
Let people play like they want, let everyone do their own thing. People ârealâ people only have a few hours a week to play, so let them have fun the way they want to have fun.
