Again, where did I say “different meanings”? I was just pointing out that you are quoting from the classic tabletop and might want to use the MMORPG definition as that’s what we’re talking about…
Please care to explain the reason of you fighting that fiercely against a feature like this to be free? It does not affect game balance and is purely of cosmetic nature. Why pay 140 PLEX of real money for something that you might want to alter more than once? Do you have to pay $2 and a change every time for that? This is pure bogus!
Forums are for people to communicate. Everything you mentioned is part of “communicating”. “No” is communication. Just because you’re not happy with his “No” doesn’t mean he’s using the forums wrong. Who are you to decide that his No is any less valuable than the nonsense you posted?
Also your definition is for tabletop…not videogames. Might want to update that one…
What possible point does it serve in your post and in this discussion? If they are not different, then why would I need to update my definition. They are the same definition, cause role playing game have nothing to do with where or how the game is played. It is just a ROLE PLAYING GAME.
Man, two extremes are the same side of the coin. You are equally as stubborn as all the people you so passionately argue against.
These forums and its regulars are truly just pure garbage.
It is free…if you want it. I already said that. If you DON’T want to make the effort to earn the ISK to buy that in game service then you have the OPTION do it with RL money too…
Maybe this is the problem…your expectations and the ability to what you want, for free, without effort.
Although modern MMORPGs sometimes differ dramatically from their predecessors, many of them share the same basic characteristics. These include several common features: persistent game environment, some form of level progression, social interaction within the game, in-game culture, system architecture, membership in a group, and character customization.
I have no idea what’s going on in this thread, but I honestly think every single one of you should be embarrassed of yourselves. Either for responding, or for enabling responses. Boohoo someone’s wrong on the internet! We’re supposed to be adults. We should act like it.
You’re not “giving someone what he deserves”. It’s just nonsense. Besides that, there’s no evidence you’re not part of this “garbage” community you speak of. Look at your own posts! Look at them! In your mind, there’s someone wrong and you need to correct that person.
That’s how you’re spending your time. Do you call that “quality”, or do you call it “garbage”? Or is it different when you do it? Seriously, it doesn’t look like you’re any different to the others.
I’ve been trolling most of the posts in here. Yet, people still warrant them a response.
People in here think they are so ■■■■■■■ smart and above other people. Throwing out tidbits like
The Naari Naarian fan club has a very low entry bar…
In reality, Runa and his like is not different than the people on the other spectrum. Stubborn, close-minded children, that argue for arguments sake. Will not admit an error, when they clearly made one.
Congratulations, what noble people you defend. What a community.
I don’t really defend anyone. I’m just trying to tell you that you’re no different. You are ABSOLUTELY no different. Just look at what you’re doing. Instead of leaving, you actually TALK to them. You ENABLE them and then you complain about them. That’s stupid!
With that said, I bid you farewell, because unlike you I’m not willing to keep talking to stupid.
