cant play this weekend I guess
Wow, I haven’t seen this quality of error handling since middle school back when I was programming in BASIC.
Seems logging in is no longer an option for some kind of generic reason.
Yeah seems that I’m not able to play today, had 4 attempts to log in and the 5th has been logging in for about 10 minutes. Why oh why over my weekend when I get some time to play. 
What okay last night, just today I’m not able to log in.
Well, given the situation, the message should have been
{“Stop watching p0rn, you’re using all the bandwidth”}
Come on CCP give us the full scoop what is going on DDOS attacks for two weeks? Come clean before you lose everybody.
The DDoS attacker on Blizzard’s Wow was arrested in September. Why can’t we have some police action this time around, too? I ask out of naivety - I don’t know the first thing about any of this stuff -, but if they somehow managed to track that guy down, then the police (with the help of CCP, I assume) can catch this mofa as well??
Here’s the news:
“Immediately after the Distributed Denial of Service attacks against our game service began, the Blizzard Security Team worked around the clock with local and international law enforcement agencies to track down the source of the DDoS,” the forum post by community manager Kaivax reads. “It is our understanding that, within a few days, authorities were able to successfully identify and arrest a suspect.”
I eventually got in okay seems stable for now. Man what a pain I feel sorry for CCP it’s been a struggle for them I bet.
When I was in another company we were DDos’d, we were lucky though in that we were able to close down all of the IP addresses comming from China as our sites where Australian only retail. I don’t think CCP would have that luck as they are open all over now.
Can play ok for the moment but I have a totally blank chat screen . I had to log in using the manual connection button
Seriously stupid comment. People who are paying for something, and don’t get it, have a right to voice their “salt”. Can I sell you something, take your money for not delivering what you expected, and laugh at your plight with a good beer in hand? Do you allow your bank, or grocery store, or computer outlet to treat you like this? Methinks not.
This is so crazy. Just now I became stuck in a warp tunnel with a 3-minute traffic control countdown. I was jumping from Stacmon (hisec) to Ostingele (losec). When the timer expired, I just continued warping through the tunnel… this went on and on for several minutes, and it never ended until I closed the client!
Followed by this interesting crash and error when I tried logging in to these forums:
“An exception occurred while processing your request. Additionally, another exception occurred while executing the custom error page for the first exception.” Lovely.
I finally got into the forums by first logging in at secure.eveonline.com, then returning to the forums page here. So that’s a trick that might help someone.
Wow, stuff is still really messed up.
In principle, I agree. It bothers me little awareness. CCP underestimates security. It’s not just about the ability to play eve, but about overall data security.
From time to time chats still don’t work

Tried to make a character today and some of the options were not available, like choosing hair which I got to work after a while. First name didn’t work however so I had to scrap the work.
Is it really confirmed Ddos? Seems like there are a lot of other problems at play.
True, very strange DDOS.
CCP is in serious trouble maybe day 1 was a ddos attack but now its serious coding trouble, chat is fuked undocking is so slow even market is slow writting over borders opening someone bio get weird txt all jumbled up.
Still have disconnects and a really slow connection. (15 Seconds to warp with a Prorator)
Warp Tunnel wont end sometimes oand you warp around for minutes
Chat work sometimes and sometimes not, often i get dc from chatserver and have to reconnect
The Game is not playable for me since the beginnig, and meanwhile i think there is more than a DDos behind all…
