Update on my chat: If I create a mobile HOTSPOT with my phone chat is available. If I use my wifi from my home it is not. Gameplay is the same. East Coast US. ISP: Spectrum.
I agree, as a paying customer it is frustrating BUT:
- As mentioned, them answering every 30 mins going “Yep still not working” is pointless.
- They will not and should not give ANY information about what they are doing to resolve the issue yet as it can give info to the attackers. This is the same with any company, and many other areas of security. Anti-Cheat companies for example won’t tell you what their software is doing/looking for on your PC cause it tips off the wrong people.
- Them not being able to solve it in a short time frame isn’t a matter of competance. Clearly whoever is performing this attack has a good amount of resources. Its not some kid with a ‘booter’. DDoS mitigation is not a “press button to stop DDoS” matter, it can be VERY complex and requires a lot of work. Even massive companies like microsoft and sony have had extended downtimes from DDoS attacks

orly? Are we playing this game for skill training? Because i can come up with quiet a few examples of how problems with chats only can make you consider doing something else than attempting to play EVE.
- its a service payed for but not being delivered
- they have done nothing but break things even more.
- they can admit the anti-DDos is the issue right now and that they are working hand and hand with them to fix it with out any security issues
- no im not receiving OMEGA benefits if i cant log in to Q skills.
- if i file and injunction on this for breach of contract im sure my little $15 a month wont count but a injunction will involve more than my self and my little $15.
- i dont want any free crap just what ive payed for.

It’s taken me 3 hours just to login in to the forums. I’m on day 8 of being unable to login to the game and day 12 of suffering from Lag and Chat problems.
We are going to be refunded for this months subscription fees yes?
The service interruption is not being caused by the provider, it is a third party attack. And again, you ARE receiving a portion of those benefits.
The fact that people are able to log in is an indication that progress is being made.
Have you tried their app for setting up skills, because that has worked without issue for myself. Also… if you’re OMEGA why are you only setting a skill queue long enough to last a week? Even basic skill advancement takes longer than this to complete one level 5.
If you’d like to go through the expense of filing an injunction against what is likely a foreign company over $15 I’m certainly not going to stop you.
