is anyone stuck at launcher i cant even get ingame, fails at the launcher…

Login works partially 1 out of 20 tries, errors in game login. Click connect, 1 in 10 tries get into game itself. Within 10 minutes, disconnected, unable to login at all again INCLUDING to the website account pages.
Ongoing since mid last week.
All chats are completely broken, receiving an error message about not being able to connect to port,
EVE System > Could not connect to chat server live.chat.eveonline.com:5222
But ? what you talking about ? They say every day they have ENGINEERS working with PARTNERS in order to fix what comes from this rid-culous idea to delocalize chat server from main cluster ! every day ! you’re a very bad customer to blame on people trying to fix their own fail !

just love watching all the people in here " oh my chats broke oh my chats broke" be glad you can even get in the game and stop flooding this with “oh my chats broke” there are plenty of us here that cant even get the launcher to connect never mind log in to see the broken chat.
ok… a corp mate just told me a work around for this problem … if you just type anything in any chat window, chat will connect normally and start working again … just tried this and yes, it does work!

Bitching about losing your ships is just for stupid players- leave and go elsewhere. Rule 1: keep shinies in hangers after new deployment or issues. If you undock your epenis from hanger, tough luck.

Normally I’d always give you guys slack, & I’m sure most people here (Even the extra specials) do too.
The real disappointment here is that the majority of the pilots in my alliance, and that I play with regularly, have been having the varying problems all mentioned above, & there has been no official word or explanation for over a week!
This is not “suboptimal” , this is piss poor & has undoubtedly cost you subscriptions just in itself.
Historically you guys are all over this sort of thing like a rash, and we the community are given daily updates. So in the absence of this am sure you can appreciate peoples frustrations and lack of faith.

Just use a VPN service and all your problems are gone.
CCP should try out a few and recommend or partner up with one to provide cheap or free VPN access to game servers.
otherwise spend 5 bucks a month and get your own VPN and enjoy harrassing-free gameplay.
Unless I can get a guarantee from CCP that my accounts won’t be automatically banned for using a VPN, I’d sooner just not login until it is resolved.

I’ve just been using the time to sit down to Red Dead Redemption 2. Which is having issues as well my fellow Nerds.
Yes I am upset, but it’s not like anyone who has been playing this game for years hasn’t seen this before. And I’m not upset at you, CCP. I know you guys are having a struggle.
It would be nice to be able to “Pause” our Omega subscriptions though. I know you guys usually give out free SP and stuff after the issues get resolved, which is GREATLY appreciated. Albeit, begrudgingly.
I hope this gets resolved soon for everyone.

For a VPN to be efficient on a DDoS, we must be sure CCP’s servers (or the internet connexion they rely on) are not the main target of this DDoS. if it’s not the case, a VPN can help using another route avoiding the DDoS, if it’s the case a VPN can’t help, at all, except adding latency.
So the real question is : is CCP the target , do we have any information about that ? this should be the first thing CCP should inform us about imho
i cancel my omega status and write the problem are this server status! (i have only 1 account, 2 day before last DDoS attack i thinking up to open 2° account, luckly me of not pay the second account).

Logins seem fine for me now. Chat however gives this on login: Could not connect to chat server at live.chat.eveonline.com:5222.Please ensure that this port isn’t blocked.Retry?
