Day 7: Finally we get your update here in the megathread. Thanks. I learned that if I steer my VPN to Germany, I am not experiencing significant connectivity, lag, or chat issues. I logged in doing this long enough to collect my skilling spree bonus, then made sure I had sufficient skill queue and logged out.
Turned off my VPN, and posted here, hoping this information is useful. I am a US-based customer (Atlanta, GA area) that presumes it is not permissible to connect through VPN for any extended amount of time so … playing the game pretending I’m from Germany is not an acceptable long-term solution.

its not just ban for using it the bigger issue with VPN is lets say there are 100 people running the VPN through the same ip tunnel and one (because there is always that one) dose something ban worthy well that IP get ban. this now ban the other 99 as well. not to mention the clear dangers to your own system using a VNP.
I am scared one or more of our 7 stations are already out of fuel………….

Fuel longer, tightwad…or trust a little more for others in corp/alliance to fuel so more chance of it happening in the rare times like these.

Deciding if I will ever pay money to play EVE again changed from MONITORING to ON-GOING as players are reporting problems with the service being unreliable.

Since 2008 I never faced such a long term mess with connectivity issues. But yeah I did trust once a member to much unless he undocked the carriers one night……

CCP, just give us the IP adress of the one guy, who try to harass you, and we will ddos him to prevent the player from ddosing ccp… (now its correct)

I’m not sure if this is the best place to report what we’re seeing, but what has been happening the whole time for me is it saying couldn’t log in, handshake failed, then I click connect and it works, aside from that and my overview not much else I could notice
(edit): My overview seems to be fine but I haven’t been on enough recently to check the chats
(edit 2): chats are disconnecting and reconnecting constantly
Sure they can fix it, including CCP´s other problems.
Log In says i cant connect to port 26000 or whatever but then i click connect on the bottom and it works.
I still get continued disconnects every now and then but that is normal because i get that on every single game i have every played online no matter what service i use as an internet provider or what computer i use to play the game on.
At this point i am glad i am an alpha and not omega because i can see how people who pay for the game are not happy for losing out on content and missing ships due to the issue of the DDoS or whatever.
So have faith brothers and sisters for even I (an alpha noob) is dealing with connecting problems. Suffering is just a part of life we must all endure to the bitter end till death do you part from it.
