I agreeā¦ that is the way it ācanā āfeelāā¦ but it does not change the truth that it is NOT CCPās fault. And I ahve been working in IT for over 25 years, and yes, this is what a concerted and effective DDoS does. Itās why they are used still in the world as a way to anonymous;y attack any online entity. And yes, it sucks ballsā¦ cause it WORKS. DDoSā¦ Denial of Service.
It is not CCPās fault. It just isnāt man, no matter how it āfeelsā. But I do get you, I do understand how you feel. ok?

Actually it very well could be their fault. It all depends on how much money they spent before the attack to prevent it. Because you know, DDoS attacks are not a new thing.
Just thought Iād post the feedback here in case CCP are monitoring this thread and using the player feedback to help narrow things down. Didnāt actually mean to reply to anyone specific.

Wellā¦Had no issues for the first few days when others wereā¦for last few have had the message at login about unable to make network connection but then just dismiss that and click connect at the bottom of that screen and get in fineā¦
Last day or soā¦still use the above method to log in but have had some chat issuesā¦numbers in system not tallying up etc and some hard dcāsā¦so for me it has actually got worse with regards to stability as time has gone onā¦and yesā¦itās a bit annoying not being able to pvp,losing a moondrill cycle and having to restart due to the structure running out of fuel when not able to access game etc but heyā¦not the end of the world when all is said and done!
Not sure why so many are pointing finger at CCP when it appears that a lot more than Eve/CCP were getting hit with the DDOSā¦or maybe people just donāt do their research and are quick to brandish the pitchforks and torches?
Would be nice if we get regular updates and who knowsā¦maybe some compensation down the line for the effects of this(Most frustrating issue is not being able to effectively do the events for sp some of the timeā¦)Butā¦the biggest loss to me personally is the fact many friends are not logging in and so itās the unquantifiable impact of the loss of social side thatās having greatest impact overallā¦so sooner thereās resolution the betterā¦especially as a couple of corpies had just returned after long breaks!
Oh and for those not having issues based in the UKā¦glad for youā¦Also in the UK butā¦having issuesā¦as detailed above!

I blame Hillary Clinton i think she is behind these attacks as she tried to destroy her own equipment and now is coming after us.
Itās obvious that the Hypernet is to blame.

It does not matter who is at fault. What matters is that people can not connect. Needs fixed.
I made it in to the game. East coast.
Currently the Launcher does not load correctly, so I cannot check to see what else is not working. USA east time zone.

I can connect (using the OK button thing) but chats arenāt working. They were working yesterday just fine but now it is broken. Keep getting the cannot connect to chat server error.
so, uk based, problems with log on, problems with chat (mostly completely empty) problems with local. no discernible improvement.
I understand there are issues. I would be super grateful for regular updates. Its the not knowing, having any hope that makes it a bit tough. I try and avoid the āwe pay for this so FIX ITā argument but I do think my subscriptions mean I should be kept informed, please.

I can login one of my accounts. The second i cannt
i had no chat all of sat but was at least for chat working sunday but it still does the need to use connect button for my main chat which is getting old rather fast

Yesterday (02.02.2020) before the server restart, one character could not connect to any chat, and the second character, on another account, everything worked fine.
Today, NO ONE CHAT DOES NOT WORK ON ANY OF ACCOUNTS.
Also, the game does not enter the first time. a warning pops up and only when you cash in a second time āenter the gameā, the game begins
