im wondering for the pilots that can’t connect, have you tried to changing your dns server in your router to see if you can find a better route to the game servers

I have spent over 3 hours on the phone with my ISP they even went so far as changing settings on their end to try and help me out, But CCP seems to keep blocking the connection from my area of the world.
well isp probably changed your ip address but not the DNS. Try a public DNS server address instead of the one yout ISP assigned you.
As I said, It’s an oversimplification. The VPN reference was to explain why using a VPN may get around the problem, but as the UK routes are affected too, it won’t work for everyone.

lol, you must be new here. The old management did a perfect job of running EVE as a cash cow with minimal investment in the game. As long as Pearl Abyss doesn’t simply pull the plug there is no way they can do worse.
No I am far from new, Yes there was micro transactions with the old owners but not so much so that they put most of their work into building a new skin a week instead of trying to fix a problem in the game. I have been playing for over 13 years and this is the worst I have seen out of this game.
ok ok big download this morning still get the could not connect to server thing but close it out and hit reconnect all works. speed is back up. will see how she plays. BTW no VPN up right now south central US

I click on launch, it says “could not transfer files from tranquility” anyone know of a fix for this?
If this is supposed to be a CCP update thread where are the updates? An original statement with no real info or content … and again silence … I no longer believe this is a DDoS attack, there is something else going on - get it fixed already or give me a refund - I paid for a service, if you cant provide this service regardless of the issue give a refund.

How can the people that did this get caught
lol ill be honest here patients kind of ran out 4 days ago but there is improvment for me as of today.
Was able to log in last night, worked fine for a few min then random 30-90 second lag between inputs and response. Works fine a few more min then back to frozen screen for 30-90 seconds. I say fix the connections to servers and work on the stupid chat channels last. The only players that need local chat are pantie pissing null sec monkeys.
