I’ve been using a VPN to connect (via Canada) for the last week. As of early this morning things were back to normal and my connection was excellent without the VPN. I am east coast USA.

Fly safe.

I have able to play today from Virginia, USA without a VPN. I have not been kicked out and have not noticed any lag. Chat has been hit or miss though.

This is two day old information. It would help to “communicate” with your customers better. Please let us know what the latest is. Even if there is no change, it helps to keep in touch and let’s us know you are continuously working on OUR problem. Thank you.

I stoped my subscription and will not continue until this issue is fixed. I still cant log in to game and I hope CCp plans too compensate the days I lost of my sub due to this issue…

I had a good session (a few hours) before server outage yesterday. Logged in first attempt, chat was working, got some mining and ratting done.

Today at 20:23 server time, I logged in first time - but got the “can’t connect to chat, do you want to retry” message.

I hope this will be fixed and the time now its not acting like it did before where I had to fix the FPS and the resolution its working tht way but getting kicked out to the lock screen that seems to make me believe, I will not see a good match or be in a fleet,

OK, after a couple of days with good play with only two minor incidents, yesterday and today I’m have problems again. Yesterday I had a period on one account of DC following DC for a ten minutes, then was OK. Another account had Chat Server problems. Today, I’m have more of the Chat Server problems.

Just wanted to let you know.

First day in a few days that I logged in on the first try. Chat was not available, but typing in chat restored it. So far, things seem good, but I’m waiting for the other shoe to drop. Still not doing much as I’m scared of getting disconnected. Eastern Midwest USA. CCP, any news on when this will be fixed?

One change today I have noticed. When I first log on chat is unavailable. But it asks me to retry and when I do chat comes up. This is new. Usually when I log and I get this problem, retry does not work. The only thing that does/did work was relogging.

I use PrivateTunnel by OpenVPN, there is a free trial for 200 MB, which is enough to play Eve for a few hours, otherwise its 6 USD per month or 35 per year. Hopefully I will only have to use it for 1 month. üzgünüm benim türkçe çok kötü.

Does anyone have issues login to the support site to submit tickets? I have 2 step verification, and when i enter the code it gives me “FEDOS ATE MY SESSION” since the attack started i have not been able to access support, i have sent emails to both support@eveonline and help@eveonline and i have had 0 answers, not even a notification that they received my email. That subscription renewal email did come in however. Haven’t played EVE online in 10 days, after loosing a super to rats on day 1 of the attack i won’t log because if i can’t even access support to send a simple ticket then i cant log into the game let along pay for it. So fix it, then you get paid, but fix it first, thats my point of view anyways. I do 6 accounts and 3 of them i pay for every three months. I assume that like me there must be a bunch, because if the game cannot sustain PVP at the 50 plus fleet then there is no purpose on us even booting it up. At this point im not even login into the game anymore…every day i check this forum and it seems nothing has been fixed basically. Can you please all just hit the red “I’M FIRED” button and turn the power off. Just shut the game down at this point. Cutting costs you sold your soul to the devil, prepare for the crumble.

The reasoning is “if I can’t do it, it must be cheating”

A 1990’s MMORPG I played went offline for around 6 weeks, the majority of the posts were about hoping it would be fixed (daily and sometimes hourly updates from the CSM) and offers from other programmers to help

2020 MMORPG goes offline for 7 days and most of the posts are “How dare you? Compensate me!”

A) the internet has not aged well
B) if you’re privileged, best not to make a post confirming for everyone and confirm it for the world to see

Please tell me more about how tough life was playing video games in the 1990s.

And another thing, Entitlement and Privilege are a bad thing, when based off nothing more than your identity (race, gender, nationality). So you quasi SJWs running around yelling about entitlement and privilege may want to rethink in light of how stupid it sounds.

I want to make a point something that isn’t, or I haven’t seen, been brought up frequently. Aside from general disconnections, lag, and chat going in and out. I have not been able to log on reliably. The very few times, and I mean very few times I did, I noticed all the aforementioned problems. The main problems that I notice and the most repeatable problems are: handshake failure due to timeout, no valid port connection on X port numbers and unable to connect to tranquility. As of this moment I do not attempt to log on because the joys of wormhole space mean the risk is too great to be kick out in some random J-Space hole.

Chat is secondary for me, I don’t use it at all. D-Scan has been lagy, or straight unreliable. The D-scan problem is the largest problem that I noticed. Chat isn’t as big as a priority as some of our Null-Sec bears want you to think. They survived blackout, who cares if it happens again.

Currently, only good people are alowed to log, evil-doers have to stay out for the rest of their lifes!
More and more good people will come to the game…
