Tried to submit a ticket after server froze on me in abyss

How does this make sense, if the server freezes on you and I have to evidence that it was not my internet because I had a person on a discord call and I told them can they hear me, and they said yes. doesn’t that automatically mean that its the server’s fault like I don’t get it? Am I in the wrong like what? I had to restart my whole computer after because the server game just froze on me. maybe some of you can explain this to me better. Maybe I am not reading these polices correctly. I am sorry if its dumb because I really just don’t get what they saying no clarifications at all is this normal?

Sharing private communications with CCP publicly will result in an account ban.

You should remove this promptly…

really?

So I can’t even know if I am in the wrong or they are in the wrong great.

Abyss Losses haven’t been refunded for some time now, as some players seem to have taken it to extremes. Get used to it…

Did /r/eve light up with complaints about an outage? No? Then the problem wasn’t on the server side. The servers don’t “freeze” for one person.

If the fix was local, the problem was local. Rebooting your computer wouldn’t fix a server problem had one existed.

Well I guess thats that. I don’t know how a server would just stop working for you when your in the abyss.

So the client did run, but the server froze? How did you determine that the server froze and not the client? Or did the server continue and the client froze?

Maybe you describe what you actually experienced without jumping to conclusion. Maybe you also have a lack of knowledge to describe it - perfectly valid, then do it in basic terms as you seem fit.

It didn’t. Your computer stopped working for you while you were in the abyss, and rebooting fixed it. Again, rebooting your computer wouldn’t fix “the server.”

my computer did not stop working for me. I could doing everything else except in eve

I have a great computer. with pretty amazing specs

The EVE client on your computer froze. The client is local, the server is remote. If you rebooted your computer and the problem resolved, then the problem was local.

From my point of view, when I jumped into a new room everything just stoped working, I tried turn on my booster and see and it would not turn on, the ships were moving but they did not do anything except circle me. that is the point I am confused about, my computer was working perfectly, my discord was all good, I tried to reload my youtube in the background and it was good that thats why I thought it was server problem.

so client having issues is my fault? does that mean I don’t get the refund and the GM me was correct?

In any case, i guess you reported it to CCP already that something happened and i guess they rejected your claim that it was on their side? Your first post is a bit unclear after the edit now.

You might try to friendly ask them for an escalation or re-evaluation or if you could provide any logs for them and how. In any case you are at their grace if you get your stuff replaced or not. Nothing much you can do beyond this if they reject it again according to their analysis.

It’s not your “fault,” but it’s also not CCP’s responsibility. They can’t control what happens on your computer.

That’s correct.

already escalated it but I got the same response I guess I was not nice about it idk I did not saying anything bad but I was very disappointed about how the GM gave no clarifications

It’s not your fault, but it is your problem.

because of the volatility, and the time limit, among probably other reasons, CCP does not generally reimburse for anything that happens if you’re in the abyss.
