Triglavian Fleet Destroying Pods and Ships in High Sec - November 2020

Dont use them. Or fit 2 and pray or scout ahead.

About the tank, just use medium slots then, lol. Its only to survive long enough to warp out.

So you’re suggesting people only fly shield tanked ships with stabs fitted in the lows anytime they move around pretty much the entire of the forge region? :stuck_out_tongue:

Why not? :stuck_out_tongue:

Flying shield tanked ships with stabs in the lows is good practice anywhere! Unless you want to fight of course.

I sent them to the corner with no cookies or milk. Sadly this stunted their development and they had to repeat kindergarten and first grade.
Now but they are all grown up they spend most of their time behind the dumpster sniffing glue and huffing fumes.
You just can’t teach developers anything these days.

What gets me is that a triangle is only stable on the X and Y axis depending on your coordinate system, give them a push from Z and they tip right over.

Ok, seriously though, this has happened to me a few times and I can’t decide if it was a good or a bad thing, it was bad for my ship and my pod, but holy crap was it ever fun when I came back for revenge.
Once was at a gate, the other was undocking in a highsec NPC station. That was the one that got me going on revenge.
I made many hundreds of times in loot what I lost in terms of ships. And had a blast doing it.

I think I know of this site, but haven’t used it, I should and will and will see what I can do about sending updates on the wormholes.
Thanks for making the site, this should be fun!

More help is always appreciated, the more people on-board the more accurate the tracker becomes and the less people get caught and the more people get to farm and visit Pochven

True. MMO. Dystopian.

As in RL there are some smart people that just think they are the smartest. And have approval to all that is wrong in the game just to make other people angry. Sad, sad creatures…

More like some people are so insecure and entitled that they think being shot at in an MMO spaceship pew pew game is morally wrong and a real-life crime because they can’t handle losing space pixels in a vid’ya game… or in other words such people are still children who drop temper tantrums and act as being victims when things don’t go 100% exactly according to their will and blame others for their own failures.

veteran player looking into returing to eve, NPCs shooting players in high sec is bad enough, but gate camping and POD killing too? are you F’ing kidding me???

i stuck around trying to figure out what the hell had just happened, if i knew that NPCs can now POD kill players, i would not have stuck around, NPCs should NEVER POD KILL players, ESPECIALLY in hi-sec!

i just went to get some stuff to do some mining…

Converted it into an easier to read format:

People payed for those pixels with cash. They changed the long standing rules so anyone that lost real world cash or real world time due to that have a every right to be upset.

You said it. Its a game. There’s rules. You don’t go to a soccer game where they are allowed to use their hands in the 4th quarter. Yeah its their game and they have the right to change the rules. And irt’s still a dick move.

First of all perhaps read the context to which post I’ve replied to about what subject.

Aside of that what rule has been changed or game mechanics or whatever? Not entirely sure what you refer to. Based on the thread title I assume now more and more dangerous NPCs are all over hisec is what you are getting at, I guess?

If so yeah CCP does scummy things like letting people’s stuff in citadels which were claimed to be asset safety protected be taken away en masse, while also on the test server people could figure out which citadel had what loot thus know beforehand where the juicy loot is located at. I recognize how the more dangerous and more numerous diamond NPCs roaming hisec can be seen in a similar fashion. I personally don’t consider it entirely a bad thing but not in agreement with its implementation entirely either. So if that is what you’ve been referring to then yeah it can be seen that way though not entirely sure it is as bad as you describe it, adapting to the dangers of space is part of the game and always been, though some of these roaming fleets seem a bit excessive and many people expressed this ever since they were implemented, it was especially bad when triglavians even spawned in rookie systems back in the days which was corrected though only much later as I recall.

Though note my reply you’ve quoted was about a different subject if you check the chain of posts leading to it, namely whether one can expect to be left alone in a massively multiplayer space ship combat game where engaging other pilots in non-consensual combat is the very premise of the game since its inception and one of the main marketing aspect of the game’s promotion. To which the answer is no, you can not expect to be 100% exempt of non-consensual pvp and anyone who claims this is some real-life crime and other such nonsense is just plain wrong.

But only in the sense of pure server access. All ingame assets, including PLEX, are property of CCP. They can do whatever they want with it. If CCP decides to cut all wallets’ value by half, and remove 50% of “your” assets, they can just to that.

I think he meant more in a moral sense than legal.

Yep. Dick move is dick move, legal or not. It makes other people quit, no matter how much it pisses YOU off that, in your opinion, it shouldn’t. Funny because I’m on the side of wealth redistribution, but CCP’s plan is to get more newbros. Shooting themselves in the foot in the opinion of many.

I think the plan is to get more of the right type of newbros, EVE has been getting less and less dangerous over the last 17 years and its disappointing, when i started nowhere was really “safe” and it forced people to pay attention and learn, these days sitting in rookie help people aren’t even reading the tutorial mission text

EVE is supposed to be unforgiving and not for the faint of heart and i applaud any changes to take EVE back to what made it amazing, the risk, trigs are a nice step in the right direction i think

Artificial ISK sink.

Let’s see how it goes, time will tell.

They never did that before so its not “taking it back”. Its part of their plan to counter the unsustainability the original programmers overlooked.

And its still a dick move and it will still make people quit, like it or not. That’s my point.

Hisec is exactly the same as it was when I started, and low and null are a lot safer. Im only 2008 so maybe Eve was superfuxinhard in the first five years.

And yeah, you aren’t going to attract and keep anyone but the most diligent spreadsheet readers with the current tutorial. On one hand you’re saying newbros aren’t even reading the tutorial, but if you’re older than me (characters) and you did the tutorial shame on you. Its awful now, but it was ridiculously bad then.

I meant more along the lines of the precedent has recently been set that you can’t overinflate the value of virtual cash in video games.

Realistically CCP has nothing to worry about because they aren’t rich like Epic.
