why not a role or per level bonus to reduce the fitting cost of the bonused utility highs?

i don’t think the frig needs another mid. its speed and agi are already really high.(unlike the amarr ships with the same issue) giving it both a prop and web would start to make it oppressive

If they are meant to be used in groups you obviously split up different ewar to different ships 1 guy has web another scram another td or whatever

150% dps spool is good (thx CCP) but it takes ages to get there… I think this should be toned down a little, also scan resolution on BS is very low, this could be ok but such a short lock range? I got about 42km with 4-5lvl skills thats too low srly.

is it though? you can’t shoot much past 42 to begin with

You can get almost twice as much with long range ammo and TCs, probably those free high slots are also for extending that range, if so thats ok

how exactly are you going to extend your targeting range with a high slot?

and yeah but you are also not doing much damage with the long range. look at other ships like rail BBs max range and their max damage projection this isn’t that strange

It still takes too long to spool up but at least this is an improvement (provided the change is retained, that is). Give the weapon a 5% range bonus per cycle (up to a maximum of 25-50%) and now we’re cooking!

The Leshak still needs more PG. A skill that increases the charge-up amount by 50% (5%>7.5%) wouldn’t hurt, either. Or give the frigate 5%, the cruiser 7.5% and the battleship 10%.

Yeah i mistake Sensor Booster (its med). So i have good point about to low lock range.

And if being capable of doing more than 1,5k DPS at 70km with good tracking isn’t much than…

That would of course also be possible, but I think you don“t want to add too much Level bonuses. They already have two, like almost all non T2 ships. Role bonuses would stay the same through all ships

Sure, the rattlesnake can do that, but missiles have travel time…

So that’s their role, somewhere between turrets and missiles! Probably less stress on the server, too.

Yeah but missiles are less than a4th of the dps. And their flight time is nothing compared to the spool up not to mention they have better alpha

With a pair of T2 hydraulic rigs, T2 missile guidance enhancer and missile projection implant you can get missile velocity to almost 10km/s for RHMLs with a 100km range.

Those aren’t sentry drones doing that much damage… Drones have travel time too…

the drone travel time is WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY less than that of the spool up so don’t even try that.

Overall i think that BS lock range should be buffed to around 80km with max skills, also spool time for 150% damage should be that long as 100% was before. Low effort skill for reducing spool time also would do the job especially if that weapon system will be used more in future but im not a fan of adding more and more skills into eve… Also rig for it would do the job but it must be something like 30% time reduction on t2 with 300calibration so one will be enough not taking all rig slots

what i would rather see is an added low slot that does not increase damage at all but gives a much greater reduction. this would let you decide between a higher max damage or reaching that max faster
