I like that idea.

Entropic Disintegrators should not consume ammunition, given the fact that they require more time than any other gun to reach maximum DPS. They should work more like laser crystals.

it would be nice if the CCP created these ships as customizable similar to T3 cruisers with the use of mutaplasmids

ps. The current design of ships is not felt unique

Ammo will be part of the rewards for people running the sites since not every site will drop ship or weapon bpcs

Plasmid drop rates are quite low too it’ll be interesting to see where t1 disintegrator ammo settles it may end up more costly than faction for other races

Given the fact that they now have to load ammo, I would really love to see the max damage Limit to be removed. Limit amunition to 200 charges per gun, and let them reach the 1000% Damage when they manage to fire that long on a single target. Would be an interesting anti cap weapon, though, maybe then disallow them against structures

I think that the ammo might take up a bit too much cargo (a full clip of the medium ammo takes like 100m3 of space) and that the cruiser and BS probably need still more PG so that you can actually put plates and reps on them, maybe some more CPU as well though that is less important.

Two primary points of feedback:

  1. I’m going to have to agree with a lot of the current criticism here, right now the plasma charges take up way, way too much inventory space. 0.2m is far too big. It feels like you get locked into using one and only one kind of plasma charge, and the number of reloads you have isn’t very high. Granted, you do shoot for a long time- but honestly with how long it is, I don’t see why they couldn’t just be “crystal-like” like they were initially.

  2. I’ve also been withholding a second statement until I had “good skills”- but the Vedmak is really underwhelming. I can understand a lot of the complaints about it and how the bonuses seem to be hinting at some possible gameplay styles (heavy passive armor tank + RR in the utility highs, which are plentiful) but then there just isn’t enough PG to actually pull it off, something is going to need to change. In my opinion either the role bonuses should turn into local rep instead of remote rep (maybe scaling cap use and cycle time so armor reps go faster on the Vedmak/Leshak? probably not on the Demavik) or the Vedmak should get the ability to actually fit plates + hardeners + RR + Death Orb, even if just barely.

Why does Supratidal Entropic Disintegrator II take 17400 MW, that’s way too much if you ask me, reduce it to 15000MW.

I agree.

Maybe it would be better if ammo consumption was tied to damage output? Then you could make tactical choices to pulse the disintegrator to conserve ammo, or go all out for mass destruction. Ammo amount and size would need to be revisted in that case.
