I beleive if it was infected, everyone on the foirums would be complaining but seeing as they are not it has come from somewhere else.

I have also just scanned mine with 3 seperate anti-virus packages and nothing.

The PRON was lighthearted mate but it must have come from elsewhere if nobody else has it. You know what the forums are like, any sniff of drama and everyone joins in.

o7. It came from client update. Windows security gave me the “path” And it was my eve directory. Trojan:Win32/Fuery.C!cl

Hmmm, I think CCP as a commercial entity would be seriously failing its customers if it delivered an update with a virus attached. I have scanned my entire system and cant find it and I know you have said it was in the update, I just can’t see it ever happening.

It does show the need to have an updated virus package though as you caught it.

I use Windows 10 pro security package. Why would I make this up? False positive, maybe???

Hey, I am not saying you are making it up, I am saying that 1000’s who have downloaded it would have said by now so maybe a false positive.

Who gives a ■■■■. I do. Most of the other guys here do to. Especially Jonah and Solecist, they love a bit of pixel peeping, don’t you lads?

I watch so much porn that my trojans have worms.

Stop indirectly discriminating.

Nom.

Just looking for an answer to my problem…, but, as usual, the Fools out weigh the genuine people in Eve. Piss off with you useless reply

If you seach Google for the virus name you will find a multitude of people complaining and mentioning this being flagged by Winndows defender and also how to resolve it.

I bet you’re tons of fun to be on a roam with. Now take back what you didn’t say about people who watch porn.

One post from an MS Dev states

“Doesn’t seem to exist in MS threat database, perhaps was a false positive that has been removed.”

Good luck.
