True sov

Hello, anyone can use a shuttle to fly around in someones space. There is also cloaky ships that can enter and travel around with minimal risk. These ships can also summon attackers. As if that wasn’t enough there are items that will teleport players in and out of null and it doesn’t stop there. People can also enter and exit via wormholes.

Basically null cant enforce their borders which is why there is no fighting for territory. Its why null is stagnant.

New sov upgrades are needed to resolve this.

The reason why Null cannot prevent covert cynos from coming into their space is that there needs to be risk for all the rewards and for having your own empire. They can prevent the use of normal cynos with Cyno Jammers, which is what they used to do in the past a lot. That was one of the reasons why 1DQ1 could never fall in the last war against Goons.

That is not the reason why Null is stagnant, as covert cynos have been a game feature for 15 years at least.

border [ bawr-der ] n.

  1. an imaginary line, limit, or delimiting geographic feature that separates one country, state, province, etc., from another.
  2. part or edge of a surface or area that forms its outer boundary.

Key here is the line is imaginary and must be enforced by the population within the confines.

Have fun!

What would these sov upgrades do? If you make it impossible to enter sovnull then people just turtle up and krab in peace. That sounds like it would make null even more stagnant.

Null is supposed to be dynamic, fluid, isn’t it? Systems can and do change hands depending on who brings the bigger stick to the fight. Null Sov - yours if you can take it, yours if you can hold it.

Null cant enforce their borders which has lead to stagnation

Massive wars would break out if players could establish real sovereignty in null

You dont know what the f you’re talking about. And you contradict yourself. If they cant enforce their borders then yea they should fight to keep it

Blue donut exists for a reason to null. They dont wanna fight lol

Null would fight if they could hold real sov

‘‘Hey evil neighbor! Lets both build impenetrable walls so we both can enjoy fighting again! What do you say?’’

‘‘What great idea! So I can watch your troops helplessly running into my defences and you could watch mine being repelled at your borders as well! This can have no other result than motivating the both of us to fight more! You, Sir, are a Genius!’’

Why are you talking about impenetrable walls?

To ridicule a stupid idea! Inhabitants of any system can already secure their borders. With combat ships.

How so?

Where would you put the combat ships if you wanted to secure your border in null?

You have it round the wrong way. A more ‘secure’ null with greater safety for corps is what would lead to stagnation, as there’d be no need to set up any defence. No-one really holds ‘space’ in EVE, the only thing people hold is a degree of influence.

That sign would be a joke in null considering how easy it is for trespassers to get in and out

I think you are contradicting yourself. For example the only way the security goes up is if a defence was set up in the first place.
