Unhealthy event (Invasion chpt 3)

And…?

You dont like unfair.

Or what you perceive at this time to be unfair.

Alright, honest question. How long will people participate in the event, if even after 15± hours of concentrated effort and deploying much more people they will make zero progress?

Who cares?

The NPCs bash each other, we eat up the salvage $$$$$$

Its not like it going to actually change anything in the long term.

Once long ago, we played video games because the act of playing them was fun.

Whether you give a ■■■■ about other players or not this dude has a point.

Idiots dying because they go full moron and don’t eat drink or sleep puts the whole games industry in a bad light,

We all remember the kid in Korea who kicked the bucket in an internet cafe after a marathon gaming session.

The edgelords will say “hurr hurr Darwin” but the rest of the non-gaming world sees a person who died needlessly and if it happens too often you can be damned sure nanny state advocates will push for legislation restricting game times and politicians will bend over because that’s what they do for votes.

CCP have been around the block quite a few times and should really know better that to encourage this kind of behaviour.

based on what, you don’t honestly think CCP will just let RNG decide which systems will be invaded do you? :stuck_out_tongue:

They have already looked at the map and decided which systems they would be willing to lose to low sec if the trigs win them, they already have a “worst case scenario” for the map if the trigs were to win all of the allocated systems

If that is so, then they have done this 17 years ago

Hardly, its not only blue star systems being targeted by the trigs you know :stuck_out_tongue:

So yeah CCP know what they stand to have flipped to low sec

My health is none of your business, other players health is non of your business. Worry about your own playtime

He is, that’s the point. Per usual the people who pretend and portray to be good and want things “for the good of the people” are really only in it for themselves.

HE can’t keep up doing that and thus he wants to limit others to avoid them “getting ahead” of him. Forgoing the fact that others (need to) do the same thing anyway, for the most part, and it’s just new and different people all the time. It’s very egocentric.

I see you are obviously not involved with the trig community as you have no clue on what’s going on actually

easy solution

I don’t need to be involved, its a bunch of lore related crap used as an excuse to give you the illusion that flipping system security status in a bunch of pre-defined systems matters :stuck_out_tongue:

I expected an EVE player to be able to read between the lines, but i guess they stopped seeding that skillbook

That skill book is now a Collector’s Item, and youd be suprised how many people extracted the SP to sell for Trinket 18937 from the Jeans Shop

You seriously believe they won’t expand beyond these systems eventually?
Did you actually even consider it?

Yeah, they’re idiots. They bring it to themselves. That’s the end of it.
The alternative is policing people’s behaviour, which is what the OP is about.

They don’t bring the industry into a bad light. That’s just a minority of assholes making loud enough noise, often enough backed by the asshole media. In reality most people really don’t give a ■■■■, but politicians tend to grab any and all opportunities to limit our freedoms and rights.

So we can either deny everyone any and all right to self responsibility …
… or we ignore the assholes …
… who claim that people suffering from their own decisions require protection …
… at the cost of everyone elses freedom.

They don’t.
Let them die.

tl;dr

“My side isn’t winning, but let me cowl my whining in virtue signaling over other player’s health”

Get ■■■■■■, coward.

Sure, but its still going to be a very planned and scripted event, you’re not just going to get random systems that become vulnerable, CCP will still maintain the ability for people to play in high sec so only systems that don’t matter will ever be risked and they will still come with restrictions to make them mostly not even worth mentioning once the event ends, a few more low sec systems that nobody uses won’t really make any difference :stuck_out_tongue:

Oh yeah, I see you are up for a productive discussion. Please continue

Lol, here we go again. Makes me rofl every time I read, that trigs are losing

I honestly don’t give a ■■■■ about who’s winning or losing. You space weebs do enough worrying over this dumb ass “event”. The OP was just crying that it’s too hard and covers his crying by creating an imaginary victim class and championing on their behalf because he’s a loser.
