If you are relying on auto targeting drones and going AFK when running missions then your are NOT “running missions”. You are exactly what this is designed to stop and part of the problem.
We mustn’t forget that miners who aren’t very mobile, and have shorter locking ranges than either PvE or rats will just have to take the damage until the rats work their way into that locking range.

It’s not difficult… That’s one of the very first and minimal things they setup. That’s how they can warp and select things, etc.
What problem? Just a second, had to turn my miners back on on 15 accounts. Will have to go back to that in about 15 minutes.
Maybe they will have to mine with an Alt/Ally on defence duty? Oh no! There will be less solo mining and far less AFK mining - a good thing.

Niles, you can’t figure out Cerb ranges. I don’t expect you to figure this out.
With this reduction in drone capabilities, can we have a corresponding upgrade?
Instead of only aggroing if they’re in space at the time of the attack, can they also respond to current attacks immediately after being launched?
A good change to this is that krabs who use Drone-based ships can’t just slap on a Warp Core Stabilizer and coward their way out so easily anymore.
