Yeah you’re right. quitting is the right course of action.
Done with it now. 7m a tick using missiles and drones. add ESS perhaps 15m per tick if it’s not stolen. my 3 hours playing is going to be “being more attentive” by continually repeating click and pushing keyboard F. Much more entertaining games.

I find the drone agro changes to be a decent compromise between solving afk ratting problems, but not completely killing Drone/Sentry mission ships.
Botters/AFK people will adapt, of course, but even if you remove drones from the game completely, people will still find a way to automate.
I’m betting that someone could find a way to mechanically switch between ctrl+click, and F1. Just place the mouse over the right spot on a properly set up overview, start it up, and walk away while your missile boat and Goldberg AFK machine auto-target and shoot things.
Rediculous as it sounds, that’s just how lazy humans are.

Stupid change, I’m glad I Omega’ed my accounts. Until the devs improve the game my accounts will stay Omega’ed. This change doesn’t make you more attentive in game it just makes you push an extra button. Why is AFK ratting an issue? I’ve had loads of fun killing expensive ships because they were AFK. Never mind, another nail in the coffin for this game.

The reason for the change was very clearly stated in that thread, yet you’ve decided to completely ignore that and pretend that others should tell you here what the reason could be, when you could have simply asked for clarification there, if the reason wasn’t clear to you…
Now, what does that tell you? To me it tells A LOT about YOU…
Easy tiger who made you forum queeny? Name a forum where people haven’t duplicated a discussion… May be the OP wanted to gather thoughts and debate which very quickly turned into firing shots and sarcastic comments when views and opinions are not on the same path.
Understand, a change like this is a big change for people who played the game using drone boats to fund other aspects of the game. Understand instead of ratting for 2 hours to be able to continue to enjoy other forms of the game this change will now mean players taking 10+ hours to generate the same amount of isk. Understand people don’t have 10 hours to sit at a computer grinding to make isk doing an activitiy that is hugely boring and repetitive. This change puts a huge amount of pressure on people who, actually really like playing, to play a way that they completely dislike.
Now what does this tell you? Your post tells me a lot about you.
Or… maybe OP thought his opinion was worth more than everyone else’s so he went and created a separate thread that does nothing but repeat the same dumb arguments being spammed in the official thread.

There is no pressure, because they can leave.
No one’s forcing them to stay.
That pressure only exists assuming either they’re addicted to the game …
… or because it affects their real life income.
