Yes I have, but rigs are irrelevant as they can be applied to any ship that can fit a salvager, is optimal to use salv rigs on a combat ship with a MTU? Probably not…but suffice it to say the issue is that the noctis should at it’s core salvage better than any other ship even without rigs.
No silly and nobody does that.
But just for reference, I only have the t1 rigs on my Noctis. Does it really matter if the wreck is salvaged in one cycle or two in case you have a miss? I mean, you get the salvage material regardless.
Even the most difficult sleeper wrecks in higher class wormholes don’t take more than 3 cycles and it is very common to carebear in w-space when nobody else can’t crash your party.
Are you in a hurry?
Even before the mtu the ship was mostly a novelty. Anyone who knew what they were doing salvaged in a DD.
That said the ship is in the game if it can be made more useful why not
mmm here my feeling on the noctis as a clean up crew player.
Sure it dose it job, but It don’t make as much raw isk, you will make more as a ratter that drops a MTU to get the loot. The solo reason that the nostis is not out of the job is due to rigs.
Rigs just need salvage to be made, and the noctis is the best at doing that lone job, but sure you can be lazy and just get a hualer with salvage drones and one salvager to clean off the t2 wreaks, if you want go super lazy and want let the drones do all the work, while having more cargo hold to hold all the salvage.
??? Daredevil?
… destroyer
Try salvaging a Haven or Sanctum in a destroyer and you’ll be at it all day.
Soo true… that another reason the noctis is not out of the job yet too
Does a Salvage Hurricane not a thing yet?
oh no tons of mission runners afk salvage with drones and mtu!!11!!11!111!
