I don’t know if it actually impacts the number of pilots, just the ‘size’ of the formation, ie: ‘how far across can my Sphere be?’ BTW…

I really don’t get why CCP has taken steps, again and again, to reduce community involvement and drive people away from the official forums. Every single avenue of player involvement with the rest of the community is an avenue toward customer retention—toward keeping someone paying you money, CCP. You’d think they’d be trying to maximize that, but… Didn’t want those bonuses anyway™, I guess?
