A couple of the new bpo’s are stupid to research 1 is 56 bill each side another is almost a bill on each side. Not sure what they are doing as no minerals to build with. and now if someone wants a capital good luck by the time you build it your looking at 2 plus months and the p4 and pi needed to build it is not quick
. I think whoever is building the new version of eve needs to know what the hell they are doing. The cost is dumb they said was gonna fix mining and building but looks like they are destroying it. been here 10 years and i’m a old timer in rl also. crap like this is taking the game away from me. I’ll wait 30 days to get some thing back to normal or it’s not worth the game… I’m dealing with real life issues and do like the game but CCP has lost it’s focus and killing the game . every 90 days i have surgery for kidney cancer and come back to another fricken stupid change

Yes!!!
It’s in the general tab listed as something other than “red dot” but it works and it’s lovely!

You can tell it’s a bad update that will upset people when they have a sale on subs right before the patch drops (which is exactly what they did).

That sale has been offered up at the end of every quarter for the past year. Take off your tinfoil hat and let your scalp breathe.

My guess is that they are 2 separate spawning mechanisms/systems, and now null gates have both instead of just their old one.

which ever way around it is … it feels like an asian mmorpg grinder.
At least in small systems where you have one gate or gates on the same grid.

The “gatespawns” bring around 1-2% on Military.
Spawning rate seems to be around once every 15-30mins

Let´s take the optimistic calculation first:
2% every 15mins = 12,5h

Now the pessimistic:
2% every 30mins = 26h

After several checks it seems more to be 30min.
In addition it seems that the NPCs do not show up in mining areas (moon grid / ore annos) as they did before

You havn’t taken into account the 1% decay every hour in these calculations either.

Who smoked a bad things again before placing npc on gates in nullsec? NPC dreads and titans on gate? Seriously? That’s a bad joke, guys.

sometimes i think the devs are 5 minutes into the game.

yeah i know. it was frustrating enough without that.
Yesterdays story end: ratted half the day (aka visited the gate grid once every 15-30min), ended up with 9%. Got to sleep…you know the rest i suppose.

Today had a little luck. A hub site spawned. brought index to 22%.
started gate ratting again. had to cease because dread spawned. Fun…

And even if you kill that dread, all the extra effort is worthless because it still only counts as 1 ship towards the index. #CCPGameplayQuality at work.

it really counts PER SHIP and not based on the bounty a npc yields??

Yes:

mhmm not sure if that´s still valid.
After erasing all NPCs in the “small arkonor and bistot” anno the index just went up by 2%
And even if one does only count the big drones it would not match.

Also a full hub or independance site just made it 22%.

For years people have asked for rats that behave more like players. Well, here ya go, gate camping rats.

This team of DEVS is the worst team of DEVS in the history of gaming. Stop given Pearl Abyss your money, its the only way we are going to get ride of this team of criminals DEVS. Put all these DEVS in the unemployment line where they belong.

Gate Camping hostile systems now raises their ADMs due to rats spawning every five seconds - genious!
