SeaT can not read unallocated skill point amounts. Unless that changed in the last 3 months.

As general feedback, I’d like to applaud the fact that the feedback link is at the top, I wouldn’t wanna have to scroll that much to whine, thank you kindly!

If close eyes to some problems, i think huge mistake is dont release pre-path with BPO and Skills. so that people can prepare, trian skills and craft needed modules.

I concur 100% on this

Soo couple issues here besides bugs… WHY Did you guys think this was a good idea? and going to go over well? you CCP was talking to us actually making dialog… and then you push ■■■■ without even ■■■■■■■ telling us… without even outlining what’s changing anymore… simply put… WTF CCP no pre seed for large indy core nvm other new items. so my mining op goes without an Indy core because of your stupid decisions. There is a routine for new modules. prelaunch so we can seed them then actually add the changes. We’ve been over this many times over the years. Why choose to deliberately ignore those practices and release an unfinished product… you are an MMO push it WHEN IT’S READY not when the Schedule says so

Also even better is either the tool tip is bugged or your numbers are wildly wrong. The Strip miners aren’t getting the full intended cycles that is stated on the tool tip. And WHAT THE ■■■■ 19 second Align time for Skiff… Who the fu… Why… how… I can’t even begin with this one… You remove its med slot then essentially make it so you’re forced to use an Ab or MWD with it to get remotely acceptable align times… Oh and the Hulk ore hold is as bad as I feared. You added 20s to cycle time and DOUBLED the yield… Assuming the Tool tip is correct you fill it in literally one cycle… Second cycle tops it off. As i told CCP swift. You’re only maintaining the status quo at best. Give the hulk more bay space to make it so it’s not the APM queen of the game.

And WHY THE ■■■■ did none of this get pushed to Sisi before TQ! WTF IS EVEN THE POINT OF SISI IF YOU DOLTS AREN’T GOING TO USE IT? Do you deliberately listen to us just to ■■■■■■■ ignore us?

Art team: Stellar work as always the new animations for mining look amazing!

Edit: After Exploring the update a bit i’ve noticed a few more oddities. where are the Industrial core skill books? It also occurred to me… why do we still use Mass Production as a Indy Core skill? this should have been changed with the Rorq rework many years ago here we go just ignoring it again. there is ZERO reason for this skill to be required here since Compressed was changed. (this is probably a CCP monkey paw request isn’t it. you’re going to read this and think Hmm we will just put Compression back to bays in the Rorq\Orca!)

It’s not exactly less, but it’s not that great either. Here’s a Covetor mining some arkonor with Type C IIs:

unknown

that’s 416 m3 yield and almost 13km3 waste. Well, they’re not THAT useless, but with those numbers who would use them for pvp or flip anomalies over just getting the ore? It’s a very disappointing nothingburger.

They should not calc waste after applying a 0.2 yield multiplier IMO.

It’s horrible numbers. just use a type a and jettison the arkonor until CCP fixes the Type C

They probably didn’t mean to. They just forgot to test the patch before rolling it out.

I am genuinely curious as to why it is called “Residue”. The word means “something left over”; a by-product. But as I understand it, what this mechanic means is a reduced amount of product, This is confusing, because “residue” isn’t always the same as “waste”; sometimes residue is useful or desired.

“Waste”, however, is never useful, and neither is whatever we are to imagine is being wasted or “left over as residue” when mining with this new mechanic.

Thus, I thought “waste” made a lot more sense as a word for this.

Oh they did…the first iteration started the Jita Riots.
Second iteration about two weeks later were more stable and reasonable.
But we were sounding the alarm with the SISI patches with the abyssal siege modules and other bugs. Even at the 11th hour.
And CCP said okay…push button before Christmas Holidays.

The base hp for the Retriever seem to be wrong either in the patch notes or on both TQ/Sisi , but they are as follows.

Shield Capacity
New: 4,000
Old: 2,300
TQ : 2500

Armor HP
New: 3,000
Old: 1,700
TQ: 2500

Structure HP
New: 4,000
Old: 2,000
TQ: 2500

, CCPlease fix it, thank you.

Also CCP. You need to go through the skills again.

The SKP refunding isn’t equalling the skills trained.

It actually has caused some interesting Inflation of Skill training. Some of the backbone ores are now sitting at crazy long training times. Depending on Attribute Set up. You can get between 25 to 51 days to max out the Variated Ores.

Abyssal Ores are the most obvious abuse of this, because you have to get to Lv IV to even use the T1, but once you train it you get the T2 in the same skill training!

We were told waste, or residue, would be tracked in the mining ledger, but the ESI has not been updated to reflect that.

When can we expect this to be implemented as it is a core function to tooling used alongside Eve.

We were also told that scarcity was ending…

CCP is making a habit of saying one thing and doing another.

I’m a realist.

Good thing i dont mine that mutch anymore, but sorry i have to say please someone Steal that Nerv Hammer from CCP - End of the scarcity, but hey here lesser Tank, CPU and yield for you, and as topping free Waste mechanics :grinning_face_with_smiling_eyes:

And TWO mid slots from the Procurer. Yes, we got an extra low slot - which is not an effective way to add tank on a ship designed to use shields.

So we lost mid-slot utility (tank or other things), and gained a few HP in an area that’s not massively effective on this ship. Brilliant.

^^ This. ^^ This. ^^ This.

We said it repeatedly during the pre-patch discussions, yet it’s been completely ignored. I don’t mind if they have another plan - but explain it to us, because those of us who have mined with Procs for years (and used them in other interesting ways) just see this as an attempt to force us into cookie-cutter fits now instead of having variation.

^^ This. ^^ This. ^^ This.

It’s a stupid and overly complex mechanic that punishes the wrong people. Instead of doubling everything and then removing as much as half of it anyway, why not just bonus the better modules better? Or fix reprocessing so we can get better reprocessing outputs with higher level skills (and give us the outputs that way - in the end, the amount we mine is only a means to an end to get minerals out).

^^ This. ^^ This. ^^This. (Are we detecting a theme here? All these issues were raised in the pre-patch discussions and NONE of them addressed to anyone’s satisfaction, if even at all).

To use the new Industrial core, an Orca must sit still for a set period of time, cannot receive remote support but can absolutely be attacked. Wow, 100% ECM protection - because highsec gankers always bother to ECM a gank-target Orca…

Compression was delayed because the proposed plan was stupid. Given what they left IN the patch, that’s saying something.

The reimbursement needs to be 100% for each skill that they removed.

THEN we get to decide if we want to go back down the same path under the new paradigm, and if so, then we get what we get with the SP and ISK that was given back to us.

I have to say, the punishment dealt out to augmented mining drones in particular is moronic.
