CCP doesnāt like to give a list of what they are working on, or timelines, until a day or two before it is released: this is when the devs are finally sure the fix or feature is actually going to be published! Up until then any Dev comment about specific work in progress, is just ammunition for endless āBut you said X - where is it?!ā Looking at you, Siege Green retrospective dev blog

Itās not the only bad_patch there, Oz. My advice to the Devs: Play (!!) your stuff that youāre coding there - first yourself some days - and release it having played your stuff successfully

Keep in mind that some level of difference in performance is inevitable. With any coded system, there are going to be edge cases and other issues that only show up reliably when itās being used at scale. 5-20 guys playing with something will never find all of the issues that will be uncovered once 100,000 iterations of the system at being run.

Is there a way to copy column layout from one over view tab to another.
Or do I have to copy layout manually to each one ?
12 chars x 8 overviews per char * 7 columns
672 twitching fiddle column manipulations to get back to where I was before you fubared everything ?

As far as I know you have to manually set the columns in each tab.
However there is a way to automate copying the settings of on character of one account to all other characters.
Put the jar file into c_eve_sharedcache_tq_tranquility/settings_default
Double-click EANM.jar and it will open the last char you logged into with a simple to use interface.
This will copy all settings across all characters to include the overview.
Btw, once you get your overview the way you like it, export it to your local hd/ssd.

I was so hopeful here, butā¦ nope. None of the issues that I think should have been fixed before removing the opt out have been addressed yet. And the opt out is still missing.
Continuing to give the same feedback every time I log out of the game for the devs to read, as well as saying it here. Photon isnāt ready for the removal of opt out. There are still readability and functionality issues which werenāt present in the old UI which should be easily fixed and still havenāt been. The vertical lines which make the overview and other lists of information more easily processed and understood and do nothing which Iāve even seen anyone argue to be a subjective negative impact while providing demonstrable objective benefits are still missing. Colour palettes still need work to be as good as we used to have in a few areas of the UI, some of which are still causing eye strain for some people. The recall probe button doesnāt even look like a button or proper UI element and is way too easy to overlook. Compact mode on the inventory screen still doensāt compact any of what it should be compacting, and instead removes important and useful information it shouldnāt be getting rid of.
All of these issues are things which were being commented on and asked about long before photon got pushed onto the majority of users even when it had an opt out for us to use. None of them should be unresolved when thereās no opt out any more. So either they need to be fixed more urgently, or the opt out needs to come back until they can be.

Welcome to the forums, I must be in that 90 percentile bracket. The game doesnāt seem to work as well as it did before. It is not like this forum wasnāt full of people giving their honest opinions about the preview. They decided to green light the UI and let the chips fall where they may.
