Apart from various usability issues (less info, less space blabla) I am also having quite the severe eyestrain even after short sessions.
Don’t know what it is, but everything feels kinda blurry and after playing EVE i have trouble reading stuff elsewhere for a while.
The only other time I had this issue was after some bigger fonts change some 6-12 months ago in EVE, but that got much better after a couple of days iirc.
I don’t recall getting eyestrain anywhere else playing games, reading articles or whatever.
The UI guys just forgot that the gate sec level indicators even exist when they made Photon. But don’t worry: They will fix this soon and make the gate sec level indicators just as bad to read as they made the order highlights in the wallet and market when they unified them there. Typical #CCPQualityFeatures
Our logs indicate only 0.001% of players actually looked at the gate icons in space thus the feature has no reason to be spent development time on.
– CCP
Our logs indicate only 0.001% of players actually looked at the docking animation in space thus the feature has no reason to be spent development time on.
The docking animation can not be turned off thus everyone views them all the time, that is 100% instead. Besides they can write their own logs if needed anyway.
Today i scanned down a wormhole in Low-sec. a N99 classification wich means it’s a Low to Low WH. it leads to Intaki wich sicne downtime is a 0.5 security system. so the WH ID’s are conflicting and i had to run my sweet butt back to the hole because im a baddy .
Maybe you might want to tweak the WH’s aswell before peopel lose stuff due to false advertising actual security levels
I just noticed this: Halcyon Dawn skins cannot be traded. When you click the button, the market opens the group page for Genolution implants and other implants. Since it cannot be traded, it makes no sense to display a button that opens a confusing window. Same goes for the Abyssal Glory - Caldari skins (and related skins). The button opens the same completely unrelated page. Or does this behavior also count as “easier to use, reducing cognitive overload, more streamlined UI”?
The Woseley charges 16.75 pounds ($20 USD) for Creame Tea, fruit scones, and homemade jam. But what does the price of tea in England have to do with this thread?
The UI was the biggest and apparently the most unpopular change made in Version 21.02. Maybe they will do something to fix these issues or create more in version 21.03 or 21.04? I am headed over to play another PvP game for now. Maybe the game will get better or worse, that is for the developers to decide. Almost everything we say here is pointless, we can bicker, rant, and rave. CCP is a silent mountain that refuses to move in any direction. Pay the mountain money, if you are being entertained by its cold isolated silence. If they listen to anyone here, I plan to go outside and tell the sky it is the wrong shade of blue. I think it would have the same affect.
It’s an element in the UI.
UI elements are relevant to the UI.
There is a problem with the UI element in question.
It’s a problem which existed in the old UI as well.
It’s a problem which is exactly the kind of thing the devs promised to fix with the new UI.
It’s not fixed in the new UI.
How exactly is commenting about a failure to deliver on a promise made about the new UI not relevant to the new UI? Because it looks pretty relevant to me.
