Great call on the SCC surcharge. I went to bed yesterday and thought “man i wish everything in the T2 chain was more expensive and researching BPO’s is WAY too cheap, only the oldest players in eve should have them anyway”. Then when I woke up today, you did it!

Dear CCP,

I have a small issue. I keep defending you, saying you care about the health of the game, that there is no way in pits of hades that you would ever do anything to drive yet even more players away from your game. For some reason however you insist on proving me wrong. Somehow you keep taking well intentioned ideas or thoughts and somehow you even with rolling with advantage for being a developer and having a loyal fan base, along with having the luck feat keep rolling natural 1s.

I seriously think you all need to hire somebody to honestly give an assessment of any hairbrained ideas that you come up with, I get the need for ISK sinks, there are much better ways to put ISK sinks in the game than making industry more expensive and thus ships and other things for everybody else. Ideally ISK sinks should target things that players look at as optional vs mandatory. Building ships, or buying built ships is 100% mandatory. Cannot play the game unless you do one of those two things.

I fail to understand how you keep failing to grasp the simple concept of No Grass (aka missions, PvE content, industry content) No sheep (aka industry players, miners ect) No Sheep, No wolves. (aka your PvPers, Suicide Gankers, ect)

I seriously encourage you to actually listen to your CSM’s. I encourage you to actually listen to your player base and find the commonalities in the complaints that folks have. Yes, you are never going to please everyone, but you can make sure that you are not making changes that impact mandatory parts of the game in a negative manner that makes a key element of the game more tedious than it already is.

I wish you the best of luck in trying to avoid any more natural 1s in your future rolls.

Industrialists who use real life money to pay for their accounts just so they can ‘do the activity’ and undercut the market are the worst.

People who are not in space are not being/making content.

There is a never ending supply of industrialists thinking their skills and abilities are special.

There was a time a Hulk cost north of 800 million. Until industrialists stop crawling over each other for pennies en mass, enjoy the subsistence life.

The null blocks will not care, in fact if anything this will help as it skews the profitability balance in their favour.

Pfft. Structures are not meant to make money, just remove it from the game. No way is a rataru in high sec going to build enough ventures to pay for the fuel to keep it running, let alone recoup the cost of the structure, the core and protection money to stop it getting blown up.

Amen to that. Make space worth something again, if only there was some kind of celestial resource that could be passively harvested by a structure, that could be used for trade and industry.

The main ISK sink is the market sales tax, but well-organized groups – ones large enough to gather all their own raw materials, produce everything in-house, and then consume the final product themselves – can pretty much bypass the market tax, but they can’t bypass the SCC production tax.

SCC from 1.5 to 4% ?!

Just another braindead idea raising the SCC charge from 1.5 to 4% out of the blue… If CCP thinks theres too much isk generation somewhere then go and fix that, dont randomly try and change something else just because you ■■■■■■ up and created an isk faucet first.

i very love pvp but the current PVP environment is very bad,The Thunderchild ship is too powerful in PVE events, especially in the hands of DC League players, with high PVE capabilities and is very difficult to kill. Other than that, I think the Bastion Module I should be tuned to the 30s, Marauder is too boring right now.

I hope to make Thunderchild easier to catch, as the DC League’s heavy use of Thunderchild for PVE activities has severely affected the game’s PVP

… taxes which will of course be passed on to the buyer of ship hulls. Any ship hull.

I don’t get this notification. Why does maximum suppression make the system hazardous for general travel? Doesn’t Suppression keep the systems save for general travel?

grafik

Not to mention that there’s a typo in the notification: system.Do

Pirate FOB Tether Range needs to be fixxed.
Why does it need to be that large? Are 10 or 20km not enough?

We did a show yesterday on the state of the Pirate FW.

Just a thought,

These large groups are in null sec and the empires have no controls, so who is enforcing any form of Empire taxes or fees?

The owners of the structures. And corp taxes. Or ye old be active needs.

Mr or Ms 0.0 Or larger scale low sec producer needs to show up in fleets once in a while.

Empire Indy people wanting that…Well then train up a doctrine bc or something. 1 fleet a week or even a month.

A mark in the box for being active, back to making crap when fleet is over.

Fixed incorrect appearance of Astero icons.

Today’s patch notes: Where’s my :handshake: ?

That one is to advise players who have aligned themselves with the pirate factions available. So they know they are flying onto a system with advanced gate guns etc.

I completely agree its not written well.

Nice skin quality

But that’s all part of the Immersion you see…

CCP again forgets the :handshake: in the Defect Fixes paragraph…

  • Ship Autopilot will now jump through Ansiblex Gates.
  • Damaged Laser Crystals will no longer be counted as modules for the “repair all” option for Nanite Repair Paste.

Were reported by players and not by CCP efforts.

This is also an interesting approach to “communicating with the community”. Dump changes in a patch, release a “blog” after the fact and have no discussion or feedback from the community. Classic Rattati Communication 101.
