Have to move the mouse cursor over the ISK field now when modifying a market order with the scroll wheel to adjust its price. I don’t recall having to do this before.
Before, if the modify order box was the last window opened, I could use the scroll wheel from anywhere on the screen to adjust the price, as long as I didn’t click another window after opening modify order.
Hate the new ESC menu with a passion. The only saving grace is that it auto-applies settings changes. I am not a fan of these full-screen forced menus; I much preferred the floating windows of old where you could move them around and have them in the background while doing other things.
i agree. the esc manu kinda sucks ass. the layout is nice. but it blocking the gameplay is kinda weird esp since we have had it not block gameplay in the past
This has been CCP’s new design concept for the past couple of years! All the recent UI changes are a waste of space compared to what was before – character sheet, chat window, now esc menu. We’ll see more of this coming in the future. Will probably have to wait a couple of decades before there’s any chance of this waste of space design trend reverting itself.
Great things that we could ad to that Project thing:
Make it also for the Alliance, that would be awesome.
What we where thinking about specially for newbros would be that you can add a Skillplan to that Project Manager in Corp (or even alliance ), and if they skilled the skillplan you can give them an ISK reward or even the Ship with fitting (like in contracts) as reward, like Skilling a Doctrine ship of your Corp or Alliance and get a reward for it…
Having the escalation poping automatically in the Opportunities, and with the Jump button available (similar to what you did over a year ago for career agents), this is awesome! Thanks for this QoL
That is how the FPS look like after the last patch (HAVOC):
(the drops are during system transfer while jumping a gate, the whole game basically freezes and stutters).
I would really like the developers to explain why they changed the Escape menu.
Let them explain what the motives were behind this.
Because I suspect it was done by someone who has simply never played EVE.
I suspect that they didn’t just outsource this work to India and they quickly copy/paste Escape menu from other source.
It may be connected with the “Mission” bit being replaced for no reason with “Opportunities”. Whereas before the brightness of the little icons as shown by you indicated whether or not they were selected for display, this is now broken. The horrible little Opportunities icon remains dim whether selected or not, and seems to be messing with some of the others.
Rorqual conduit jump is bugged. I did a conduit jump and only 2 of the 11 characters jumped with. I went back to get the rest thinking they might have been out of range. Did another conduit jump and 5 of the 9 jumped with. This time I made sure all ships were within range.
Who cares about the damn ESC screen??!!
the INGAME FEATURES are awesome!!!
NPC pirates become a playable faction, Zarzak, enhanced FW, graphics boost, what are you complaining about, dude?
Do not call me “dude”. The Esc screen is important, whatever you think. And none of the things you think are so wonderful are important to me. Glad that you are happy, but if you read this thread, plenty of us are not. So why not enjoy everything that you find so great, and not attack those of us who are exercising our right to provide negative feedback.
