If the origanal artist filed a copyright then you cannot create derivative works or sell copies of their original without their permission
Drawing on a piece of art you have bought doesn’t infringe copyright as it’s just modifiying a physical object you own
I had a corporate project and accepted a freelance job. Both were for the same system and involve defending FW plexes. After defending a plex, only the freelance job was rewarded. I did not receive any rewards for the corporate project. Even the contribution number in a general dplexing corporate project, which does not provide any rewards, did not increase. Is it possible that freelance jobs are blocking contributions to corporate projects?

I’m sorry but what is this job asking me to do and where? I get that it wants me to mine Omber, does it matter where? Does it have to be in Nourvukaiken or Tama or wherever? Where’s the drop off? Does it matter? Is there even a drop off? How much higher or lower is the reward compared to the regional average if the Omber has to be delivered somewhere?

Players are only now just realizing that they don’t get anything from listing Freelance jobs, ie: mining doesn’t result in any ore being delivered. These are currently just an ISK sink for null corps that have been designed for the sole purpose of recruiting players.
Freelance jobs won’t replace NPC missions.
NPC missions won’t be getting any kind of overhaul.
Cinematic Reveal audio is broken.
Before the update, with the above audio settings I would hear chimes and engines revving. Now, I only hear some icon reveal chirps and nothing else, no music chimes, no engine revving.

Why do the job cards not show you if you meet the job requirements? There’s also no way to filter out jobs I can’t do. If you’re able to set a job for characters <30days old, there needs to be a way to delete those jobs from the list I see, otherwise I’m just clicking every job, seeing the requirement, and then clicking the next one over and over.

Why? Because this is a merely a public extension of the existing corporation projects. So it’s really in early Alpha. I have no idea why they pushed it out half-baked. Well, I do, actually - they had nothing else to offer in Legion except an Alpha map.

yeah, a crazy thought. I mean, we already had software that could update itself, had a setting menue where you could select all nessessary options and wouldn’t even need an “installation”, it could run on every computer just from it’s own directory, because it simply brought all files nessessary. Must have been somewhere in the 90s.
I get the strange feeling, all those “launchers” were just invented to advertise and sell us players things we don’t need or want. Hmmm. Conspiracy…?

Omega: The ACP SP rewards are unchanged from previous values (750k total) while the Omega Benefits page lists a 2x bonus with a 1.5M SP total

I’m trying out freelance jobs. There’s one listed to kill rats. So what i want, is to complete combat anomalies. But, there isn’t a filter in the agency for a specific area.
I’m not sure how i’m expected to do this.
Then Freelance Job is a misnomer if this is just HR buying leads, just name it Tryouts or something. If I’m freelancing then obviously I’m not looking for permanent employment and unless the corporation is hell-bent on removing Omber, no matter the cost, then it’s not a job either.
Unfortunately, freelance jobs from a corporation standpoint is incomplete. You are basically subsidizing the new players with no reward, although it does create an opportunity to crash the market in certain sectors if you pull enough capsuleers in and end up flooding the market or setting a trap to kill players.
No you do not have that right. Unless you are the author you do not have the right to alter a work of art, a painting in this case. It does infringe on the copyright and fine art is not considered just a ‘‘physical object you own’’. Work of art remains a work of art even after being sold.
In your imagination do you seriously believe that making ‘‘derivative works of the painting’’ or ‘‘copies’’ of it is not okay, while altering the original is allowed just because you own it? That’s as backward in logic as you can get.
You need the artist’s permission to alter their work. Period. Painting is the work of art. Just because you paid for it and own it does not give you the right to change it.
Read copyright law. It’s pretty much the same across the globe in advanced civilizations.
Why is it not possible to age restrict corp projects like you can with the freelance jobs? I find that feature kind of nice even for corp projects as it helps engage the newer players easier without the more skilled / better equipped players scoop all the rewards.
My suggestion is to incorporate the same mechanics as the new freelancer jobs got into the existing corp projects. This will help streamline things as well!

New starmap lags when you open it. Also when you hit your hotkey again to close it. map thinks you are searching for something that starts with that hotkey instead of closing it.

Freelance jobs filled with 20isk jobs, no way to filter out jobs based on reward amount. ALSO GETTING FW JOBS FROM THE OTHER SIDE OF THE FW! and cant filter that either…
If you want to improve player retention and NPE stop trying to reinvent the wheel and talk to ppl who have been doing this work for you in years. EVE Univesity, go talk to their teachers and students. Also reach out to open fleet fcs and content creators that do newbro stuff and ask what tools they want.

I think it displays it the first time you log a character in and then no longer shows it. I had it like that.

I had it show up on one character (incidentally the one that gifted Omega to all my other chars) and none of the other.
Now I see it on a different char on the same account but not on other accounts I have online. This feature is great.
