Yeah this year some time
Or the last iPad my dog knocked onto the floor…
Good evening everyone,
Good evening to the CCP Research team, whom I thank.
I participated today in the survey questionnaire regarding the Cradle of War expansion.
I want to clarify here that I did not participate for the PLEX. Therefore, I do not wish to be entered into the drawing to win 2500 PLEX.
My participation in this survey was primarily motivated by conviction, and also because I sincerely believe that CCP has the capacity to bounce back and offer us a small miracle in the future.
The leaders of the former CCP, and therefore of FENRIS today, simply need to re-evaluate their approach and accept a completely different vision for EVE Online—namely, the vision of one of the last remaining veteran players of the franchise.
I sincerely hope my contribution will receive their full attention, as I believe it is in their best interest, as well as that of all players.
Happy reading and best of luck with the rest of your project.

Care to actually share what that vision is for us so that the community can give feedback and say if it is actually what we want? Preferably in a new thread.
I own a fleet of bulldozers.
Pretty sure it does.
My response to your request is here.
Happy reading and happy debating.

Yeah, as I’m learning. But it was not possible before 2026. That resculpt did not allow for sex change.
I’ve forced several members of my alliance to transition.
My turn…

Yes, from a ship to a pod to particles…
i think i’ve given up on campaigns. they are insanely grindy.
You can’t contribute more than a pittance - and once you’ve completed some of the “basic” objectives they’re never offered again.
The problem with the new starter space is that it doesn’t help (new) player to communicate. Players feel lonely even when on the same grid.
In other MMOs chat is essential part of the UI, but in Eve it’s just a single window out of a million windows.
To really connect players to each other do the following:
- Spawn new players in a crowd, not alone in a space.
- Place Exordium agents not (only) at stations, but in space, so players interacting with that agent can see each other. Later you can teach player that agents give missions at stations only outside of Exordium (except for COSMOS agents).
- When players are close to each other (single grid, single station, single agent) - open grid, station and agent chat windows automatically, so players can communicate with each other in close vicinity.
- You can even add popup text above the player ships in a space.
- Make double click or the first item in ship context menu to open a chat with that pilot.
Otherwise it feels like you actively dodge all obvious communication possibilities for players.
This will require significant UI overhaul.
Make all of high-sec “safe sec”. Problem solved…
The newly added ‘Star Cradle’ background which features the starry background of this expansion is broken.
The background features nice stars in the corners, however as of a couple of months these same corners of all portraits are cropped away. This results in a much more plain background without all the constellations and stars that should be part of the corners.
Here’s how the corners look like in the character window of an alliance member I found with the background:
You can barely see anything of the effect.
Here’s how the corners should look like (in the full portrait):
A huge difference!
Please fix the character window portrait cropping issue already. We get a square canvas for our portraits, why crop 35% of it away?
Some of us do not want to talk most of the time; you are imposing your idea of how the game should work. Despite what some people on here claim, shock, horror, EVE is a perfectly viable solo game.
