Where are those conversations on here?

Why are those conversations not published on here?

This is where you demand they start their CSM journey.

Why do you tolerate the fact that they never communicate in these forums after they get voted in?

I seriously don’t understand your thinking here when you’re still defending them.

Hey @Spacetramp_Drago,

Thank you for your post as it sheds some light or rather offers an opportunity to shed light on how the CSM, community engagement, or otherwise works!

We live in a newer era of eve, where forums are not as ‘cutting edge’ in the social dynamic. I learned this on my first campaign and subsequently worked to diversify how i engaged with the community in CSM 19 elections and now this election cycle.

While he doesn’t need defense, Dujek has been one of the more active contributors and speakers for the groups i run with and i would say is likely what we would call “higher performing” when it comes to work performance. He, Seddow, and Youngpuke have been the three candidates i have reached out to push for changes that despite not being on CSM to advocate for maybe they could?

Discord, Reddit, Slack, Telegram, Mumble, Twitch, TS3, Pidgin, and The eve online forums are all things i have utilized this past year to connect with the community and also CCP. Some are much more active and visible than others, and so it goes.

I think outing any candidate specifically and lets say Dujek in this instance is kinda lame considering he is one of your BEST resources for connecting your ideas or worries directly with CCP. Thats what all the current serving CSM members and prospective candidates do.

I encourage you to explore your social horizons and engage with the community in all ways.

Best,

Hey bud! Me again

The conversations on other platforms aren’t on this one. As I explained before, we ask candidates to post on the EVE Forums because it’s a central spot for everyone to be able to research on perspective prospective candidates without having to look everywhere- this evens the playing field between candidates who already have a large reach and those who don’t.

Just to reiterate, CCP doesn’t demand that CSM candidates communicate in a specific way or in a specific place. They tend to gravitate toward larger areas, like the EVE Discord, their own community Discords, or even in game! They have a fixed amount of time, and in 2025 the forums aren’t as good a place to have conversations. I think this thread is a great example of the limitations of a forum

Places like Discord do have some limitations; the conversations are often ephemeral and it can be hard to have a central place that people can reference - good for conversations, bad for an easily referenced repository of information. But the forums work great for that! Different tools for different purposes.

I sincerely hope that helps you better understand the CSM process and why a candidate may spend their time talking to the largest number of players. Likewise, I hope you found some clarity on the activity of CSM 19 members.

Just in case you’re interested to be informed: I think the word you were looking for is prospective.
