Like calling everyone and everything you dont like stupid? Er ok, whatever dude.
Youve intentionally missed the point, and keep going “where have I done this?” knowing full well when youve done it multiple times. Any time anyone has tried to talk about what they would like to see youve said that it was stupid and thats why it shouldnt be discussed.
This circular argument is simply you trolling for your amusment and adding nothing to the thread. My only regret is helping you destroy it. Anyone who actually wants to talk about this subject would be better off blocking the both of us so they can actually use the thread.
The thing is, to be honest. Why should we have Walking in Stations, when it is not used that mostly ? EVE is not a Star Citizien thing, where you shop around in the huge station (thats to biig), but what is possible, is having 3d Generated Charakters on a 2-D background, moving around like in Monkey Island to do some small tasks.
Thats easier to program, That is easy replaceable and shoudl give that intention, walking in stations would ever have.
I would like to see that moving my charakter in 2d/3d Space
Maybe with some nice text or speech bubble ? Why making things so overcomplicated ?
2d backgrounds would be underwhelming. 2d environments have been there because of very early computers not having enough computing power. There is no reason to have nostalgic 2d backgrounds in EVE, it never had 2d background, is not that old. Closest to that is 2d nebula textures on 3d space box.
EVE is pretty, and 3d is good for space games since Elite happened, since entirely 3d games happened like system shock and deus ex, its also good for EVE WiS, it gives creative and tactical freedom, it helps immersion. Flattening the dimensions isnt helping since then. Its a step back, for retro nerds and indie producers who dont have a lot of resources and create something small that doesnt have to sell much.
TPP or FPP? TPP is EVE space because of camera drones, WiS done right would have to be FPP. TPP is something I could accept, but its not what I really want.
