I see one impact it might have. No, it won’t stop meaningful wardecs, but it will start to have an effect at scale. Which is how it is with a lot of things in EVE. You might have to start weeding 5 potential wardecs out of the 20 you wanted to do simultaneously. Don’t forget wars are often extended. So it scales with number of targets and with the duration.
Yeah sure, but that goes back to the point: Do we want a wardec system where people spam wars like candy?
We do not. But war HQs and raising costs only has the opposite effects of what CCP claimed on the patch notes.
The only effect this will have is even less chance of competition and the money change means nothing to Blackflag.
The loss of all wars, measured in billions, the cost of the HQ, all mean nothing. Isk only serves as a contraint to others joining in war.
This cost of all wars and the HQ is already too much for regular players. The war HQ also makes it impossible for anyone corp to exist outside of BlackFlag.
I realize that none of you know anything about any of this so it’s hard to understand why I would be assisting. There will never be any changes to this situation with the current game mechanics.

I had hoped to get a clearer answer about the state of war decs, rather than a repeat of the complaint in the opening post and more bragging about how much more war experience you have.
But I forgot that Yoni again is an alt of the OP and one and the same person.

well it was fun while it lasted, reading this, would be nice to know why OP started this in the first place, since no points ben made so far other than a newbie with 500k SP can’t afford to wardec a nullbloc anymore and snipe them in jita?

Here’s one idea - remove/unanchor every player owned structure in HS, make it not possible to anchor any new structure and bring wardec mechanics back 10 years with current price, ie, anyone can wardec anyone else for 500 million.
All issues solved at once - we get rid of the stupid clutter in hs, wardeccers can actually hunt and pvp, not bash random fortizar no 9000 and everyone is happy.

Beyond me how anyone trying to make a point (which requires at least presenting some facts combined with a decent logical explanation), appeals to his “experience” to build some credibility and at the same time keeps talking to himself, refusing to share his thoughts, denies to answer simple questions because “no one is on his level” and using half a dozen alts to post. It all leads to the point where no one takes him serious at all and rather believe that the main problem is some kind of personal mental issue…

Maybe he has enough alter egos to vote himself in all by himself? The question remains: “Will he need to purchase some dozen flight tickets to Island…”… and insist to be “many” when debating at the CSM meetings too?

I like the change . It’s means corps like black flag will have to stop spamming war decs on small corps who just fancied putting up a structure.

And why would that be? Do you know about the exact financial background of Black Flag?
And if there was trouble financing it, then an alternative could be to make them shorter but still keep the frequency.
Still this is only pocket change if you want to bring down structures in highsec. It won’t change that.

They will now have to be more careful who they pick fights with. Pick the wrong corp and they will be 500 million down plus whatever leshaks they loose to the defenders allies
