Cause and effect are always hard to determine. Maybe people who get war decced now use their alpha clones to keep playing Eve. So maybe we should cancel Alpha clones? What I do think, is that CCP uses the numbers as it suites them. Nothing wrong with that, but just be open with it.

It can be argued that you were lucky to get proper advice. Someone could as easily give you faulty advice, which was my point about carebears recruiting newbies and indoctrinating them to fly in a specific way.
Anyway, whether it was by chance or by superior research that you personally got a good start to your eve career, doesn’t really change the fact that on average people are more likely to give eve a pass than staying.

The likelihood of us getting a new war system as it’s own expansion is actually quite high. The likelihood of them really trying to implement something that is not ■■■■ (i’m not writing “good” … ) is also quite high.
What’s highest is the likelihood of them listening to the ones with the most reasonable idea with the best outlook into the future. In other words …

Not quite what I said, I pointed out that I did not want to have the total removal of the ability to war dec people because you don’t like them, so in that it is not my preferred approach. That was to do with my allow five war decs without structures suggestion aimed at solo and small group war deckers.
This is however in part moving towards what I want in terms of the real issue with war decs and makes me think that they get it. Also I noticed that CCP said they are thinking of making it so that you have to have a structure to be able to war dec possibly in December, which I hope they do.
I am not going to waste any time posting in GD on this subject so I will leave you to it.

there will probably be 2 complaint departments:

people that erects structures but doesnt have the time, money or manpower to deal with being wardecced

wardeccers that are still salty because they cant turn on hobocorps that barely have the manpower and resources to actually provide a fight.
this is just a temporary change (allegedly) while CCP finds a way to make a different system. current Wardec system seems to be deemed as not adaptable in any way, so they have to build the mechanic from scratch.
im pretty fine with the change to be honest. was planning on setting up a corporation for casual play shenanigans but getting randomly wars from people while not having the resources to deploy a proper fights and being prisoned on station is pretty much a turnoff for any sprouting group.
i just hope the new implementation will provide whatever vision is required for war mechanics…

Your correct my post was a touch nonsensical it’s BDO and Pearl Abyss we are talking about so realistically it would be $9.99 per structure in space per month and the low low price of $24.99 for three structures in space, 2 structures would not be on offer.
