Of course, they’re perfectly compatible with any game. You’ll find it in ESO for example. There you have a PvP area and players attack each others castles. You need specific tools to destroy and repair them and it forces the fight into tracks. There is very little happening in between and the fights always run along the same patterns. It’s almost more about speed than about having the numbers of players.
This is the issue, as a mercenary we have been hired for MANY reasons. “Someone called me a dick in local”, “He ganked my friend”, “He awoxed my corp”, “They mined my system”.
These are the reasons for wars and I don’t understand how your meant to explain this to people. I can see us having to send a ‘invitation to war’ such as
“Hello good sir, We have been hired by X to war your corporation because he doesn’t like you. If you would please accept our invitation for war so we can hunt you down and blow you up that would be great.”
Sometimes if someone is being a dick I even Eve mail the CEO saying “You have been decked because X person is running their mouth off in local”.
The thing is Whitehound, people are not noticing it says “both DEFENDERS and attackers” and it makes me wonder what they mean by that. If CCP start putting in more ways to force defenders to participate it will start to effect null entities as well who don’t want anything to do with wars.
Or maybe you are building straw man arguments to bolster your indefensible opinions.
Mr Epeen
No, not at all. You’re the one talking the usual nonsense, not being on topic and merely uttering personal rant about others due to your low self-esteem. Maybe go and fix this, but all I can really draw from your comments is that you want to get flagged. Do you want to get flagged?
You canh argue all you like. Fact is I did the research. That isn’t luck, that is effort. This game needs you to put time and effort in it iof you want to accomplish something. I don’t want all the passeres-by to stay. They are most welcome in Hello Kitty Online but not in EvE. I want the great players to stay and not the entitled “give it to me now” crowd, which, unfortunately, CCP is catering for more and more.
Name one civilized society. One in real life and one in EvE.
I don’t find one in RL, but for New Eden I would say the closest thing to a civilized society (work in progress) is The New Order of Highsec.
Solve one problem and start another, without wardecs, markets will crash.
Market is ovrheated, who need 1000 trillionare ingame ???
Correction time is coming to market.
Correction of what? Of the prices or the wallets? Because when the prices go down do the rich get richer, because they already have billions and trillions in cash in their wallets. And when the prices go up then you get more expensive spaceships and more grind for ISKs. So which is it?
I’m guessing anything that fills your pockets is the right answer, isn’t it?
Hyperdunking is definitly against tge rules, I was even there when It popped up in help chat adding it to new known exploits.
“Correction time is coming to market.”
If you know economy you will understand this sentence, if you do not understand this sentence go to college or university or stay as you are now.
You mean when everything becomes valueless because no one needs new “stuff”
Its going to end up like runescape when green hid armour full set hit 4k because no on ever losses it.
Otherway, peice of mods would go down, and doing anything but what makes straight isk will be valueless.
You mean when you know, right? So you don’t know. Alright. Good talk.
That’s bull.
They buffed those mining ships as a crutch because the players were fitting zero tank modules on their own and weeping loudly.
Unprepared gets crutch; not different from the ECM change.
The point of the fix is in starting the process, not be the end-and-be-all of it.
And I actually think the fix is brillant, it introduces social corps in a simple and easy to implement way/. 10/10 can’t complain
Beautifully insigthful!
Give me a reason to undock during a war.
Give me a reason to fight back during a war.
Give me a reason to win during a war.
All those are needed to make whatever is the next iteration of wars something that is benefitial to the game. A contest that brings out participants and spectators is one where each side has the will to be there.
As well as there will be need to make Wars interesting to start, there will be a need to make interesting to fight back in. It really is that freaking simple.
There are already many reasons for each. If non of them works then what guarantee is there it even has one that will satisfy you? What are the chances there isn’t one? Other than perhaps immunity and a handed victory of course.
Every win and loss has it’s reasons, but these reasons are determined after the fight. You want to know the reasons before a fight even started.
Fact is rather that those who don’t undock already know their reason why, and those who go into fights also know ahead what their chances are or what they gain from it.
What makes you think this is going to change anything for you? The form of engagement will change, but it won’t nor can it ever guarantee you a win.
Blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah …
That is old crapy Falcons scream: WE ARE IMBAAAAAAAAA WE PLAY EVE ONLINEEEEEEEEEEE
Today customers wanna value for money not “we are imba” spins, so
CCP must offer SOMETHING to players, no more empty spins
They offer your A grade tears and that is enough for me.
