Waste of Time

Remove.

That’s from Warpath: Infiltration exploration sites.

I recently saw a bunch of them as well.

It was in null sec, but for far longer than their usual time and without other players in local.

I assume it’s some kind of new event site that has these bubbles?

Edit:

That answers the question.

you mess up a can in the event site it can bubble you and has turrets

They’ll spawn if you:

  • Blow up a mine

  • Enter the detection range of a siren/alarm node

  • Approach a security hacking node

  • Fail a standard hacking attempt on a can

Was this in the patch notes or Warpath Announcement?

I couldn’t find it :face_holding_back_tears:…

It appears to, but that would be making an assumption.

As far as I remember, the devs usually don’t include detailed information about event content or PvE mechanics in the patch notes.

I know about this because I previously ran those sites in low-sec, and since Capsuleer Day XXIII (2026-05-26) they will be available in high-sec until the end of the event. This specific change was mentioned in the patch notes.

Link?

Are you serious?

The distribution of challenge sites is about to be expanded as well. The Warpath: Capital Mayday titan support site, which was previously only available in lowsec, is now appearing in highsec as well. It is a rare opportunity for capsuleers to witness a titan firing its doomsday weapon in highsec! The same goes for Warpath: War Grid combat sites for Tech II battleships and below, as well as the Warpath: Strategic Infiltration exploration sites, which have spread from lowsec to highsec.

Yes. I read all of that. Show me the WDP part.

Being an “a-hole” is NOT requirement for these forums.

It’s very common, but not required.

That announcement does not say anything directly about Warp Disrupt Probes, bubbles, interdiction probes, or warp disruption fields in highsec.

What it does say:

  • Warpath: Capital Mayday moved from lowsec into highsec.

  • Warpath: War Grid combat sites moved from lowsec into highsec.

  • Warpath: Strategic Infiltration exploration sites moved from lowsec into highsec.

  • War Grid allows Tech II battleships and below.

  • CONCORD safety measures have “collapsed,” but that is broad event flavor text, not a clear mechanical rule.

The relevant paragraph is this:

“The Warpath: Capital Mayday titan support site, which was previously only available in lowsec, is now appearing in highsec as well… The same goes for Warpath: War Grid combat sites for Tech II battleships and below, as well as the Warpath: Strategic Infiltration exploration sites, which have spread from lowsec to highsec.”

That explains why lowsec-style Warpath sites are now in highsec, but it does not disclose that those sites may contain Warp Disrupt Probes or bubble mechanics.

So your screenshot shows something the announcement does not plainly warn players about: real Warp Disrupt Probe objects showing on D-scan in 0.7 highsec.

Best interpretation: the probes are tied to the Warpath site mechanics, but CCP’s announcement does not explicitly say so.

Not every thing is explained

That 's why I posed the OP as a “question”.

Refer to: Did CCP Change the Rules on WDP's in HS? - #11 by Pure_Capitalist

It’s a very logical explanation for a phenomenon that both you and I noticed. Clusters of bubbles in HS, clusters of bubbles without other players for far too long in NS, all happening since some event was recently added which uses bubble mechanics.

I would be very surprised if the answer given was not the correct answer, so personally I’m happy with that answer.

But since you don’t take enough with a very likely assumption like that I invite you to find some sites and see for yourself instead of demanding others to bring proof.

Did you miss the part where I agreed with you?

giphy

I didn’t see that.

Instead I saw you accuse people of making assumptions, saw you demand proof and saw you call people who try to help you assholes.

Give an inch and they’ll take a mile.

I’m sorry to have spent time helping you.

They are spawned by NPCs to trap players doing the hacking sites. They in no way affect normal travel in space and only affect players doing the sites.

Let’s make that the rule, not the exception, since I know more about Eve than you ever will
