i suggest:
remove that stupid timer / cooldown of 22 or 24h… it makes it difficult to log in each day at the same hour to do dailies…
instead make a fix reset once a day… lest say for example at 00:00 Server time… this way you just log in when you can! this mecanic is way too much 2003-ish like!
So now i’m no longer able to get the points for anything that is still stuck at “0s”. Whereas before i thought we atleast got the points for stuff even when the window showed nothing.
At this rate there is no chance i’ll be getting the new skin, but thanks for the thought? (atleast its for a ship i won’t hardly be using anyways)
Why can’t this just be a hard reset at DT or something, it could only be completed ONCE per day anyways…but that way it would always actually reset.
Main issue I have with the current format vs an LP/AK type format.
If you are away for part of the time it makes attempting any of the challenges somewhat pointless, because the remaining time can leave you unable to achieve the particular objective that interests you.
This then results in the ‘event’ having a negative influence on your play style where anytime a reminder about the event pops up such as finishing a challenge simply by doing regular play you actually feel disheartened because you know there is no way you can achieve what you would actually want from the event.
Yes, it’s a pure psych thing, but it is a real thing none the less.
I had the same problem. I had nothing in redeem assets, the booster wasn’t in my ship’s cargo and if it was applied automatically then it wouldn’t be available on the market. The event’s awards are pathetic even without this issue, but I would run it for the Tengu skin (which I’m not going to get, apparently).

Actually, I have some ideas on how that might have happened and it’s going to be something we check after we’re done with this event.
That was my first guess as well.
We will be making sure that everyone gets the rewards that they have the points for. We’re running into a problem with this morning’s deployment, but I’ll update here when we know anything further.
Good points. Another option is to make the event longer than the usual 14 days. Like last summer’s SCOPE event, that was kinda the testing ground for this current Agency task event structure… that one had a 40 day timer on it… plenty of time even if some people were on vacation for part of the event.
Alternatively, if it’s the usual type of event that drops skins and skill accelerator boosters, running the event only 1 out of 14 days can still get you useful things… and running the event all 14 days will get you lots of extras to sell on the market.
Versus this style where if the only thing you care about is the tengu skin (which seems to be the common case here), you either run the event 10+ days or you don’t bother running it at all, since 1 or 2 days won’t get you anything.
I miss event sites, too.
Purity of the Throne, the two Blood Raider events, the Guardian’s Gala… the rogue drone event, even… though the skins weren’t as good as in those other events… all were more fun to me. And Shadow of the Serpent was probably the very best (the tasks respawned immediately, if you didn’t want to do a task, like the mining ones or drifter ones, it would expire on its own if you ignored it… and there were like 11 different types of sites… most were just for specific random tasks, but the main one (the shipyard) was A) fun, B) had a loot box, C) paid out decent bounties comparable to or better than regular HS combat anom ratting, D) everyone on grid got credit for the site, so even if you weren’t the one to loot the box, you still got progress towards the event rewards for being there at the site…
The only problem, IMO, with the Serpentis event was that it only had like 6 serpentis skins instead of the full line of 'em. the Guristas event that very few seem to have run in spring of 2016 was decent, too. But it needed moar skins. I did get 2 Rattlesnake BPCs from that one, though, so that was nice. Baked 'em in the oven a year later and use 'em to this day!
I can’t remember when it changed, but I think sometime last year the in-game way of reporting an issue is JUST a bug report, it generates no petition. (through the F12 / help menu)

Out of interest, was the booster automatically awarded? Or was it also not awarded?
Since I have just had the booster & plex appear in the redeem items when I have logged on I would say that it was the “not awarded bug”.
Well my character got the tank booster and the 4 plex reward in the redeem system when I just logged in, so thanks for that.
Buuuuuut since I am sitting at 396 points I should also have the Tengu skin … and I don’t.
I have the same situation. Earned the needed points yesterday so maybe they are a day back in catching up?
No, we just want to double check before we go forward with the Tengu SKIN reward. There was a bit of a complication that did not show up for the other rewards but did show up for the Tengu. We will be granting it as soon as we can. It might wait until next downtime, but just please know that we will get it to you.
I’m really sorry about this whole nonsense. The fix is in now so that it should not occur with future events or with the rest of this event for those that had not yet gotten the necessary points.

Yep I noticed the booster and 4x PLEX in the redeem window as well.
I just passed the 380 target and have also received the tengu skin.
Also not worth mentioning, but I definitely maybe possibly could have but may not have received an extra booster and 4x PLEX either, so nothing to see here… move along.
@CCP_Dragon… I try not to think of this as nonsense, I acquiesce the line is fuzzy, personally I prefer to think of it as a shining example of how despite planning and testing things will often go askew, but patience, fortitude and good communication can turn the most frustrating of unplanned diversions into a positive situation.
It is clear that there are a few of us that relish the concept of these in game “events” hopefully enough of us to warrant further development.
A lot of quality feedback in this thread, having now technically completed this event, I would like to reiterate on how the rewards for it have been described as wanting.
Considering this is a Concord event.
One might consider for example, how the rewards for the new project discovery, specifically items like the blueprints for the new concord ships might be better suited, for the sake of consistency, with this event.
As a official concord sponsored event, the addition of concord related rewards may be more desirable to those of us participating.
Please put all boosters into the redeem system, loot can (or the UI thingie you have to click on that resembles hacking the can) …Give us the choice of when to administer them.
Keep at it, many of us very much appreciate and support these events, variation is the spice of life after all.
But what are you doing to fix the small issue of challenges not resetting? I won’t have to worry about redeeming anything if i can’t earn points at all…going on day 3 (?) now with challenges stuck at “0s”…
Have you tried resetting your cache? It might only be 50/50 but it only takes 5 mins.
Just did the math, its a mute point now…i’d have to get 49 points each of the next 4 days (including today) get the skin. Thanks CCP for such and awesome event.
A quick observation: I don’t know whether it’s working as intended or not, but I have passed the top reward, the points progress bar is full, but my points keep accumulating regardless, at 410 at time of posting this. Now, maybe these will roll over for some later use, or perhaps not - I just thought I’d mention it in case relevant.
EDIT: Update: 444 and still rising…
It just reset…so at max 48 points per 24 hour period…given that it doesn’t bug out again…i would end up 4 points shy of the skin. Should i trudge through and hope for grace from CCP because of the f up, or do i just take my lost time and move on?
