Well this makes EvE look like a terrible game CCP :(

So… EVE’s pay2win system is a scam?

I think there are people in EA who would suck in Keno and the rest people here thru their left nostril like a coke and then write acrid reply to that “this makes this game look bad” statement, schooling everyone in marketing and how people are dumb they will fall for everything and then forget about that in the next second when they will see shiny object with a -20% badge tied to it.

I could spell it out to you, but it’s all the more delicious that you don’t get it considering the content of your second sentence. It’s a double facepalm and one of the most hilarious fails I have seen posted on a forum for a long time, and I have seen some classics, trust me.

I am sorry, but I don’t think I’ll ever be able to take you seriously again. I laughed all the way home from work though, so thanks for that.

Than the starting corvette, something it also stated :stuck_out_tongue:

If you’re going to quote something do it fully and not just by cherry picking a part that makes no sense when used out of context

Exactly, I said the same above. Basically, if you have to be dishonest or manipulate the facts to make your point stick then you have already lost in my book.

‘more tank!’ means absolutely nothing to a non-EVE player. An example of CCP being as out of touch with new players as some of the posters here are.

Nope. It’s an example of modern advertising: selling the idea of an advantage, or selling an advantage directly. you just don’t know any better, but hey… how could you?

do you also reject psychology? neurolinguistic programming? hundreds of billions of dollars worth of research into figuring out how to bypass a person’s ability to question an advertised item, so he instead believes he wants it?

do you?

even though ccp and others will tell you its not p2w because someone with 100m sp can still die to a 0 day old character

Advertisers/marketers should be forced to use the product.

Knowing how the development and testing of some products looks, having seen it on my own eyes, I fully agree with this statement, no matter how ridiculous that could sound. Only add to that bunch the developers.

Ok dude, here we go.

This is what i said :

“People who disagree with you are not egomaniacs. Some people just know more / understand more deeply than you”

Lets break it down and see if we can find that irony you laughed all the way home about.

Sentence 1 : “People who disagree with you are not egomaniacs”

This sentence is factual, you cannot point out any part of the sentence that is not factual. I dare you to try, but i bet you just dance around the question like before.

Sentence 2 : “Some people just know more / understand more deeply than you.”

This sentence is factual too, you will also be unable to explain to me how this sentence is untrue. Again you will likely dance for us.

I can only assume you think it’s ironic because in your opinion anyone who thinks you are incorrect / corrects you must be “egotistical”, and that anyone who further suggests they or indeed anyone might be better educated on the subject matter is much the same.

Anyone who reads the sentences, even you, can see that they are true. There is no Irony aside from that which you made up in your head to support your own view. I’m glad you laughed all the way home, even if it was the kind of laugh you hear from a guy on the street with his underwear outside his trousers and half a can of high % cider :dealwithitparrot:

“underneath the apparent over-confidence and bravado lies a fragile personality”

Its probably half of EVE players. You hear also about drinking, also associated with that.

I did show a couple of other people your comment and they took it in exactly the same way I did, so I’m confident it’s not just me. These are people who don’t play EVE and know nothing about it, just people who read your comment and found sentence 1 followed by sentence 2 as ridiculous as I did. Your subsequent inability to even understand the issue is just the icing on the cake.

I’m not sure if you think you can undo that somehow by deflecting things back on to me, or declaring yourself ‘right’ (winning on the internet) but by all means carry on if it makes you feel better. /shrug

I didn’t need to pull in any friends for moral support. I’m comfortable that the people who matter are also chuckling at you.

YOU MONSTER!

Maybe he saw it this way:
"Some people just … " taken from second sentence and applied to first one “People who disagree with you”?

Then put together these sentences mean that someone from presented here and “disagreeing with him” are “know more …” and this makes it?

Being not native i’m unable to find anything special here too…

Edit: him being unable to properly present his thoughts makes me this that maybe there is nothing here at all…

I’m native. There’s nothing there

You what?

Ok, PhD holders.
