I don’t, but some people do. I don’t live in highsec, but it’s really no skin off my back if someone wants to run missions or whatever.
What is it with this odd crusade seeking to police how other people should play a video game?

I don’t know, what is your motivation?
I’m saying Eve supports various playstyles, including your idea of players creating the rules. Do what you actually enjoy instead of being so preoccupied with what others enjoy.
Some people enjoy highsec ganking, which is fine, but what gets weird to me are the people who do it not because it’s an activity they enjoy but to try to make some point against highsec being relatively safe. It’s a game! You’re supposed to play it for fun!
Lol, What the heck is this killboard? 2 bil in a T1 hauler? And complaining about dying?
Can you link the lossmail you are crying about?
FOUND IT
Six years later, still whining about Highsec ganking…
I’m defintely very mad about losing checks notes an empty capsule six years ago.
I’m not complaining about highsec ganking. It’s fine. It’s an entirely supported playstyle.
Most likely the player is a troll and posts this sort of bovine excrement to get attention. I mean… think about it.
CCP is never going to get rid of high sec; there are way too many players who live there who don’t want to live in another area of space. But if they did announce they were getting rid of it; I’m pretty sure the members of these ganking groups would be the quickest to denounce the change as it would completely end their style of gameplay.
So this player is probably trolling for that quick hit of dopamine when someone responds to them. I’ll give them credit though, I do find them entertaining most of the time.
Its also part of their ‘roleplay’ related to selling mining permits. I have to give them credit; pro wrestling gave up on kayfabe, but these people are still doing it. Like I said, they are amusing (to me) most of the time.
Yes you are.
Need a tissue?
Is this particularly weak trolling, or just a complete failure to read? In case it needs spelling out: I have no problem with highsec ganking.
Yes you do
The Prophet does not remember ever saying this or that you speak for Him.
Just because you as a capsuleer lack the skill to stay alive, does not mean the rest of us do.
Sometimes you are the prey. Sometimes the predator. This is the way of those of us who chose to live beyond the gate.
The counterplay IS to avoid being the target.
I think they should make hisec completely safe. However because of the risk vs reward balance that also means there should be zero ISK gain in hisec for everyone as a result.
CONCLUSION: CCP should remove Highsec from the game.
Sounds a bit excessive. Maybe keep hisec for the rookie and career systems and the one or two systems in between so new players running the tutorials can get used to things before leaving to actually earn ISK.
Sorry, we’ve already reached a conclusion.
Sounds like a your problem
to me.
Ah, the ‘playstyles’ nonsense. There should be no environment in a multiplayer game where you can avoid interacting with other people. Interaction trumps all ‘playstyles’…as the whole idea of an interactive game is, amazingly, to interact !
You sign up for interacting with other people the minute you undock. You can’t just invent some ‘playstyle’ that excludes it.
Inb4 CCP introduces abyssal mining sites completely locked away from the rest of the universe… for only $36.99 USD a month.
