Turkey, It really looks nice! I have some traveling to do for certain! I really want to visit Greece but Turkey is enticing too.
Maybe I can do both in one summer
I’d love to be a modern Herodotus and just travel the Eastern Mediterranean and write. Unfortunately, in the modern world you’re often tied down and the people in charge put up barriers to divide people.
@Salartarium
You could do it but it doesn’t pay very well, unless you’re a historian working for a museum.
Society tied itself down in comfortable sedentary living. The nomadic lifestyle of 2000 years ago isn’t conductive to raising a family or the economic system of today. I would say that people put up barriers themselves, especially when I see how the masses behave versus an individual.
Just got done eating at the restaurant.
250g beef on stone grill, potatoes au gratin, salad with ranch and a fruited beer.
Love my meat!
I’m drinking Mountain Dew Purple Thunder with my Jersey Mike’s #16 sub. CBA to post a pic.
this time with chicken(bones picked out).
Tomorrow:
Creamy mushroom soup.
I was going to make Couscous with a side of vegetables but You know what, you’ve just convinced me to make mushroom soup tomorrow! That actually sounds good.
Couscous will be for another time.
Is that where you can cook your own steak at the table?
@Chad_Frostpacker Yes it is. The waitress was so sweet she suggested it while I was going to order a cooked steak with mushroom sauce.
I had fun cooking my own steak
So I thought I could go to the store to buy what I needed for a mushroom soup but I forgot that the stores are closed due to Armistice Day.
Sometimes I feel so stupid
So the mushroom soup will have to wait 'til tomorrow.
Destiny decreed it was going to be Couscous with vegetables today. So be it.
I said I would make a mushroom soup and by golly I did!
I let the ingredients simmer in their own juice all morning.
Now I’m ready to enjoy the fruits of my labor.

someone is hoping they are poisonous
Reminds me a bit of the minestrone soup I used to love from my favorite restaurant growing up. I used to get a hard time from people because they used to tease me that of course my favorite restaurant would be on Kitchen Nightmares. Even worse is that it was one of the more popular episodes.
Marco Pierre White Is the better chef anyway.
I don’t care much for minestrone soup, I like my soups thick. Usually I put some potatoes in it to thicken it.
My favorite of all time is clam chowder but mushroom soup is a close second.
Omg, that doesn’t inspire confidence in the restaurant!
I didn’t know Chef Marco. Thank you. I looked him up on Google. He seems like a no-nonsense guy, intimidating. I couldn’t work in his kitchen.
That looks so good
I’m going to tell you all about the greatest drink for gaming or anything really.
Monster Rehab - multiple flavors, high-quality energy drink. No carbonation. It’s fully Iced Tea.
Pink Lemonade is the best flavor if you can find it. Otherwise there’s lemonade, peach, and others.
I used to drink Red Bull a lot but the carbonation killed me with all the gas lol. And this Monster Rehab is so good, you can drink half the can, fill it with water and shake - and it is still soooo good!
If you are a Red Bull fan, then there is only one flavor that is almost too good - BlueBerry!!! Love it so much!
I try not to eat or snack when on my computer. Also, nothing beats half-frozen energy drinks. Ice Cold. Yum!!!
