Exactly, and that’s nasty. With Remote Ancillary mods each Kikimora, for example, can repair for 111 hp/s in a 20km range and nuke targets from 30-40 km range and be cap stable with a neut mod on. Lol they are cap stable with a T2 Medium neut on, but thankfully haven’t enough PG.
In this multibox era of EVE 2 or 3 Lesahks will work better, in a supportive manner, than the respective amount of Nestors, considering that the Nestor is a very strong ship.
Not really. They only pre buffed a few mods which were not used by anybody because they were so bad anyway. So the nerf will still be 20% nerf to the effectiveness of the modules.
They considered that with so many playing due to a lock down, it was a good time to drive PLEX sales thru sweeping nerfs that cause more ships to need replacing (enter ISK making nerfs).
This will, I think, decrease the amount of ISK generated on average by players and increase the risk of loss, both of these will, to some degree, increase the value of ISK. So if your into playing the market, there may be ISK to be made.
When are ppl gonna get the whole point, you are supposed to buy plex. PVE is just bait for content, a con game. A hundred thousand tools that won’t let go the idea that one day they’re gonna ‘plex their account’, just gonna sub 4 accounts one more time before the big-time, just spend 15 bucks ONE account and either play or get bored and go do something else.
It does make sense when you consider that they’re not telling you the truth. Which they aren’t. They, at best, tell a tiny part of the truth. That’s usually the one that sells the change best. On occasions they mix controversial changes with even more controversial changes to divert attention, see also the red dot debacle.
In the Eve world, it’s just not. You don’t care about your EHP, what you care about is your rep - unless the fight last short enough that you can complete it and still remain on the shield layer (which is the case for some mission)
Even some L3s are more rep than buffer, because you take constant DPS.
The only way you create resources in the game is via PvE. Doesn’t matter if its ISK or minerals, it is created via PvE. The buying of plex via real money doesn’t create more resources in the game since someone had to create the ISK what you get for your plex via PvE first.
So if you nerf PvE which effectively happened now, less ISK (resources) will be made in the same timetable as before the nerf. And less resources mean higher prices.
But anyway, if more and more people buy plexes instead of generate resources ingame via PvE, the more the prices rise, thus more people will leave Eve since their real money worth less and less in game, and finally Eve will be dead.
That’s exactly what I am talking about. In that case you just don’t care about your EHP.
Actually getting more scan res is a good thing in that case, you’ll take only 20s to lock the webb drones instead of 30
